Muhammad Kamruzzaman (born 7 July 1977 is a Bangladeshi cricket umpire. [1]

Umpiring career

He officiates matches regularly in domestic cricket of Bangladesh, like National Cricket League, Bangladesh Cricket League and Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League etc. On 23 January 2023, he first umpired in the Bangladesh Premier League in the match between Chattogram Challengers and Rangpur Riders. [2]

On 22 July 2023, he first umpired in an international match during the 3rd ODI between Bangladesh Women and India Women. [3] After the match was tied, Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur frustratingly criticized and called the umpiring "pathetic" in the post-match presentation. [4]

Tamim's 128 which he made against England in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy is also the highest score made by a Bangladeshi at any tournaments.
