Muhammad Khalil Akhtar (born 15 April 1984) is a Pakistani sports shooter. ^{[2] [3]} Khalil was the flag-bearer at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics opening ceremony along with Mahoor Shahzad and competed in the men's 25 metre rapid fire pistol event, finishing 15th. ^{[4] [5]}

Akhtar won silver in the 2016 South Asian Games. ^[1] He finished sixth in the men's 25 metre rapid fire pistol event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. ^[6]
