Muhammad Shahzad (born 4 July 1990) is a Pakistani male weightlifter, competing in the 56 kg category and representing Pakistan at international competitions. He participated at the 2014 Asian Games in the 56 kg event. [1]

The Pakistan national football team represents Pakistan association football in FIFA-authorized events and is controlled by the Pakistan Football Federation, the governing body for football in Pakistan. Pakistan became a member of FIFA in 1948 joining the Asian Football Confederation and its national team debuted in 1950.
Sport in Pakistan is a significant part of Pakistani culture. Cricket is the most popular sport in Pakistan, while field hockey, polo, and squash are also popular. Traditional sports like kabaddi and other well-known games are also played. The Pakistan Sports Board was created in 1962 by the Ministry of Education as a corporate body for the purposes of promoting and developing uniform standards of competition in sports in Pakistan comparable to the standards prevailing internationally, and regulating and controlling sports in Pakistan on a national basis. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, now has control over the Pakistan Sports Board. The PSB controls all 39 sporting federations. The Pakistan Sports Board is supported by the Pakistan Sports Trust, which assists hard up players and associations so they can continue participating in sports.
Syed Hussain Shah is a retired Pakistani boxer from Lyari, Karachi Pakistan, who won the bronze medal in the Middleweight division (71–75 kg) at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. This was the country's first ever Olympic boxing medal. He remains the only Pakistani sportsperson to win an individual medal at the Olympic Games in the last fifty-plus years. Only other Pakistani to ever win an individual Olympic medal is the wrestler Muhammad Bashir, who won a bronze medal at the 1960 Summer Olympics.

Palwasha Bashir is a badminton player, born in Karachi, Pakistan. Bashir was crowned as the National Champion in 2009, winning the women's singles and doubles titles. Palwasha has been representing Pakistan for several years in different International competitions. Initially rising as a star on a national level by winning back-to-back national titles. She won the bronze medal at the 2010 South Asian Games held in Dhaka. This achievement led her to a greater fame and acknowledgement in Pakistan. Bashir has represented her country at the 2014 Asian Games, 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games. She has been coached by Raziuddin Ahmad. Palwasha wins the title of National Champion Doubles Ladies 2021 against Mahoor Shahzad and Ghazala Siddique in the final.

Muhammad Khalil Akhtar is a Pakistani sports shooter. He competed in the men's 25 metre rapid fire pistol event at the 2020 Summer Olympics Tokyo, finishing 15th. He was also the flag-bearer at the Opening Ceremony along with Mahoor Shahzad. After receiving an Olympic scholarship, he qualified at the 2019 International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup in Rio, where he finished sixth. In September 2019, Akhtar jumped to 15th position in the ISSF world rankings.
