Nandamuri Balakrishna , also known as Balayya or NBK, is an Indian actor, film producer and politician known for his works in Telugu cinema. Balakrishna is an elected member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Hindupuram constituency since 2014. The sixth son of actor and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N. T. Rama Rao, Balakrishna made his debut as a child artist at the age of 14 with the film Tatamma Kala (1974). Balakrishna is a recipient of three state Nandi Awards, three SIIMA Awards, and an IIFA Award. In 2012, Balakrishna was the chief guest at the 43rd IFFI. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute in Hyderabad.

Uppalapati Venkata Krishnam Raju was an Indian actor and politician. He was known for his works in Telugu cinema and was widely known as "Rebel Star" for his rebellious acting style. Vijaya Krishna Naresh, known mononymously as Naresh, is an Indian actor, politician, and activist, known mainly for his work in Telugu cinema and television. He began his acting career as a child artist in 1970 and went on to feature in approximately 200 films. Some of his notable films are Rendu Jella Sita (1983), Sreevariki Prema Lekha (1984), Sri Kanaka Mahalaxmi Recording Dance Troupe (1987), Manasu Mamatha (1990), Chitram! Bhalare Vichitram!! (1991), and Jamba Lakidi Pamba (1992).
Ananda Bhairavi is a 1983 Indian bilingual dance film, simultaneously shot in Telugu and Kannada languages, written, and directed by Jandhyala. It starred Girish Karnad, Kathak dancer Malavika Sarkar, Rajesh and "Natyacharya" Bhagavathula Venkata Rama Sarma as a male classical dancer in this film. The film was premiered at International Film Festival of India. The film received positive reviews and has garnered the four state Nandi Awards.

Based on the life of Sudha Chandran, the film stars her in the title role while P. L. Narayana, Nirmalamma, Y. Vijaya, Potti Prasad, K. K. Sharma, S. R. 1940 Lo Oka Gramam is a 2010 Indian Telugu-language period drama film directed by Narasimha Nandi. It stars Baladitya and Sri Ramya, with Rallapalli, Mukkuraju, Rajitha and Gundu Hanumantha Rao in supporting roles. It is inspired by the story Nayudu Pilla written by Gudipati Venkata Chalam. The director mentions that Nayudu Pilla inspired him to develop the story. It is produced by N. C. Narasimham.
