The Mumbai Cobras are a professional baseball club from Mumbai, India. Founded in 2023 as a member of Baseball United, the Mumbai Cobras are the first professional baseball team in India's history. [1]

The Cobras were announced on May 15, 2023, as the first of four franchises revealed by the league. [2] They were later awarded the first pick in the inaugural Baseball United draft, which they used to select Karan Patel. [3] [4]

The 2014 ISL Inaugural Domestic Draft was the first ever draft from the Indian Super League, the new franchise domestic football league in India. The draft featured eighty-four Indian domestic players. They were drafted by six out of the eight franchises featured in the Indian Super League to form the domestic core of the teams. NorthEast United FC and Goa were the two non-participating teams as they selected their Indian players from both I-League teams, Dempo and Shillong Lajong respectively. He also played in MLB for the Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Angels.

Alzarri Shaheim Joseph is an Antiguan cricketer who plays for the West Indies in Tests and ODIs.
