Mumbai Heroes is an Indian celebrity cricket team based in Mumbai, competing in the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) representing Hindi cinema. The team is made up of celebrities from the Indian film industry. [1] It plays its home matches at Brabourne Stadium.

History

The Mumbai Heroes franchise was established in 2011, and has since been a participant in the Celebrity Cricket League. It consists of actors, directors, producers, and other personalities from the Mumbai film industry, [2] [3] including Riteish Deshmukh, [4] Sohail Khan, Salman Khan, Bobby Deol and Suniel Shetty.

The team won the 8th season (2019) based on group stage performance, and reached the semifinals in the years 2012, 2014, 2015, 2023. [5]

Sohail Khan is the owner of the team, [1] [6] and Kriti Sanon has been its brand ambassador. [1] [7]

<i>Mauli</i> (film) 2018 Indian film

Mauli is a 2018 Indian Marathi-language action drama film directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Genelia D'Souza. The film stars Riteish Deshmukh in the title role along with Saiyami Kher. The film is a remake of Vettai (2012). Though the film is not a sequel, it carries a premise and various plot elements similar to the 2014 film Lai Bhaari. The film was initially supposed to be released on 21 December 2018 but it was changed to 14 December to avoid clashing with the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero. The film was released on 14 December 2018. Upon release, Mauli received mixed reviews from critics, with praise for the cinematography, performance of Deshmukh, soundtrack, action sequences, and narration, but criticism for its writing and pace. It was also dubbed in Hindi under the same title in 2020.

Ved (transl. Madness) is a 2022 Indian Marathi-language romantic drama film directed by Riteish Deshmukh, in his directorial debut, and produced by Genelia D'Souza, both of whom also star along with Jiya Shankar marking her debut in Marathi films. Ashok Saraf play supporting roles. It is a remake of the 2019 Telugu language romantic drama, Majili.

Housefull 4 is the soundtrack album to the 2019 Indian Hindi-language fantasy action comedy film of the same name, directed by Farhad Samji, starring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda in the lead roles. The film was produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The soundtrack was composed by Sohail Sen, Farhad Samji and Sandeep Shirodkar.
