Munmun is a Bangladeshi actress who has appeared in 85 films. She started her career with the film Moumachhi (1996), directed by Ehtesham. She became one of the leading actresses of Bangladesh alongside Moushumi, Shabnur and Popy in the late 1990s till 2003. Her film include Raja, Dujonay (2000), Bishe Bhora Nagin (2000) [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]

Career

Munmun appeared in 85 films in her career. She was a top actress of Dhallywood from 1999 till 2003. She is accused of bringing obscenity and perversion to Bangladeshi films alongside actresses Moyuri and Jhumka. She went into self-retirement in 2006 citing that she is not willing to stretch her career amid the flow of perverted and cheap films. [4]

Password is a 2019 Bangladeshi action-thriller film directed by Malek Afsari. The film is produced by Shakib Khan and Mohammad Iqbal, under the banner of SK Films. It features Shakib Khan as Rudra, who, through his autistic younger brother Rusho, played by Emon, comes into possession of the password to a Swiss bank account. Misha Sawdagor stars as Victor, a gangster trying to steal the password. Shabnom Bubly features as Rudra's love interest, Dr. Shabnom. The movie is loosely based on the 2010 French movie Point Blank.

Ei Ghor Ei Songsar is a 1996 Bangladeshi drama film which was directed by Malek Afsary, starring Salman Shah, Brishti, Bulbul Ahmed, Rosy Afsary, Ali Raj and Tamalika Karmakar in lead roles. This film was released on 5 April 1996. This film performed very poorly at the box office.

Mayer Dabi is a 1986 Bangladeshi drama film directed by Awkat Hossain. It stars Bulbul Ahmed, Selina, Rosy Afsari, Prabir Mitra, Black Anwar and others. The film earned Best Child Artist Award at the 11th Bangladesh National Film Awards. It is one of the fewest Bangladeshi films made on mother alongside Mayer Kanna (1986), Mayer Morjada, Mayer Ashirbad (1993), Hangor Nodi Grenade (1997), Ammajan (1999), Matritto (2003) etc.

Thekao Mastan is a Bangladeshi action film directed and co-produced Malek Afsari with Pawan Kumar Agarwal under the banner of Panna Movies. It features an ensemble cast including Shakib Khan, Shamsunnahar Shimla, Amin Khan, Munmun, Rosy Afsari, Afzal Sharif, Monwar Hossain Dipjol, Nasir Khan, Dildar and Don.
