Munnar Ramesh is an Indian actor who works in Tamil-language films. He is known for his character and villain roles, as well as his frequent collaborations with Vetrimaaran. [1] [2] He has acted in over 100 films.
Ramesh worked in a travels company before venturing into cinema. [1] He made his debut with Balu Mahendra's Adhu Oru Kana Kaalam (2005). [1] His first break came with Pudhupettai (2006) where he played Dhanush's father. [3] [4] He garnered acclaim for the dialogue "Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru" (God is there, Kumar). [5] His dialogue gained popularity and inspired a film of the same name. [6] He played a pivotal role in 6 (2013) as a driver who helps Shaam find his son. [7] He played a police officer in Vada Chennai (2018). [8] He also worked as a dubbing artiste for Sayaji Shinde. [1]

Pudhupettai is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language crime action film written and directed by Selvaraghavan starring his brother Dhanush in the lead role, while Sonia Agarwal and Sneha play supporting roles. Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru is a 2013 Indian Tamil-language comedy film co-produced and directed by Sundar C. and produced by Khushbu. The film stars Siddharth, Hansika Motwani, and Santhanam. The film was partially reshot in Telugu as Something Something with Brahmanandam replacing Santhanam and a different supporting cast. The film stars Vijay and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles, while Srihari, Salim Ghouse, Sayaji Shinde and Ravi Shankar appear in supporting roles. Gopinath handled the cinematography while V. T. Vijayan was the film's editor. This was Vijay's first film with AVM Productions and the only film B. Babusivan ever directed.

The movie released on 18 November 2016 and received negative reviews from critics. The film was dubbed and released in Telugu as Chennai Chinnodu in 2018.
Solvathellam Unmai previously known as Solla Thudikkuthu Manasu and also known as Nerkonda Paarvai is a 2009 Indian Tamil language reality-justice show about real-life situations. It aired on Zee Tamil from 2 October 2009 — 31 July 2011 and from 1 August 2011 to 30 May 2019 and from 1 June 2019 it is aired on Kalaignar TV from Monday to Friday at 08:00PM (IST). and later available on Behindwoods YouTube channel. The Show previously hosted by Vinodhini and from season 2 to till date it was hosted by Lakshmy Ramakrishnan. Whilst, Nirmala Periyasamy, Sudha Chandran and Shakeela hosted few episodes in season 2, 3 & 6 The show deals with genuine real life stories of people and portrays positive societal values for building a tolerant and harmonious Tamil Nadu and they try to come up with a solution for the same on the channel.
