Muramvya Province is one of the 18 provinces of Burundi. The capital city is Muramvya. In 2007 the province was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List.
The area is renowned for the route of enthronement of the Bami (kings), the royal capital of Mbuye, the necropolis of the queen mothers in Mpotsa, and the royal necropolis of Nkiko-Mugamba, amongst other things. [1]
The region's cultural and natural landscape was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List on May 9, 2007 in the Mixed (Cultural & Natural) category. [2]

Azougui was a town in north western Mauritania, lying on the Adrar Plateau, north west of Atar. In the eleventh century it was the first capital of the Almoravid dynasty, who conquered a territory stretching from the Ghana Empire to Morocco and the Iberian Peninsula.
Bourzanga is a town in the Bourzanga Department of Bam Province in northern Burkina Faso. It is the capital of the Bourzanga Department and has a population of 7,088. The town contains an ancient necropolis that was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List on April 9, 1996, due to its purported universal cultural importance.

The Gberedou/ Hamana region of Guinea is located roughly 50 km to the northeast of Kouroussa and 40 km southwest of Kankan. The area has exceptional spiritual significance as it harbors a traditional Mandingo religious milieu. In addition, the Gberedou/ Hamana region supports a unique architectural style of residential structures.
