The Museo de Bellas Artes de Granada (Museum of Fine Arts of Granada [1] ) is a fine arts museum in Granada, Spain. Since the 1950s it has been housed in the Palace of Charles V which also houses the Museo de la Alhambra.

In common with many provincial museums in Spain, the Museo de Bellas Artes has its origins in the Spanish confiscation of the 19th century when art works were expropriated from monasteries.
It houses one famous Still life by Juan Sánchez Cotán, a display of paintings by Alonso Cano, Juan de Sevilla and Mariano Fortuny, wood sculptures by Jacopo Torni and Pedro de Mena, and more objects of religious art, such as the “Allegory of Death” by P. Toma, a 17th-century, oil on canvas and “St. Francis of Assisi” an anonymous 17th century oil on canvas. [1]

The Museo de Málaga is a museum in Málaga, Andalusia, Spain. Formed in 1973, it brought together the former Museo Provincial de Bellas Artes, born in 1913, and Museo Arqueológico Provincial, born in 1947. As of 2010, the museum remains institutionally divided into two "sections" corresponding to the older museums. There are slightly over 2,000 pieces in the Fine Arts collection and over 15,000 in the Archeology collection. The Salón de Reinos or salón grande is a 17th-century building in Madrid, originally a wing of the Buen Retiro Palace. The Salón de Reinos and the Casón del Buen Retiro are the only survivors of the original grand scheme of the palace. Félix Parra Hernández (1845–1919) was an artist from Mexico who lived in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. During his life, Parra worked as an instructor of ornament drawing at the Academy of San Carlos, located in Mexico City. Through his compositions, Parra conveyed themes and narratives that demonstrated the changes in Mexican culture he experienced or observed during his time in the academy and critical world, providing a glimpse into history and shifting society from his perspective. Additionally, his works, particularly his images depicting natives, served as inspiration for later muralists such as Diego Rivera and José Clemente Orozco.
María del Carmen Laffón de la Escosura was a Spanish figurative painter and sculptor. She was a member of the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando from 1998 until her death, and received numerous awards and honours, such as the Grand Cross of the Civil Order of Alfonso X, the Wise in 2017.
The Flight into Egypt is a 1647–1650 oil on canvas painting by Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, which since 1948 has been in the Detroit Institute of Arts. It shows the flight into Egypt, a popular motif in Christian art from the 14th century onwards. It first appears in the written record whilst in the collection of Sir William Chapman in London, passing through other British collections until its sale at Christie's in London in 1945. It was bought by Maurice Harris, who took it to New York and donated it to its present home later that decade.
Dora Puelma Francino de Fuenzalida was a Chilean painter, sculptor and writer who belonged to the Generación del 13. Her work was characterized by "fidelidad a la tradición pictórica del paisaje y las técnicas de la representación que siempre defendió por sobre las tendencias abstractas que se impusieron en su época", which is why her work was included within Chilean pictorial naturalism that she approached mainly through the use of oil and watercolor techniques.
