The Muur Classic Geraardsbergen is a one-day road cycling race held annually in Geraardsbergen, Belgium since 2023. [1] It is rated as a 1.1 category event on the UCI Europe Tour, having upgraded from 1.2 status in 2024. [2]

The Flemish Ardennes is an informal name given to a hilly region in the south of the province of East Flanders, Belgium. Highest summit is the Hotondberg. Main characteristics of the region are rural hilly landscapes with hilltop bluebell woodlands, windmills and watermills.
The Tour of Flanders, formerly the Tour of Flanders for Women, is an annual road bicycle racing event in Flanders, Belgium, held in early April. It is held on the same day as the men's race, on much of the same roads but at a shorter distance. Dutch riders Mirjam Melchers, Annemiek van Vleuten, Belgian Lotte Kopecky and German Judith Arndt hold the record with two wins each. Elisa Longo Borghini won the most recent edition in 2024.
The Muur van Geraardsbergen is a steep, narrow road with cobblestones in Geraardsbergen, Belgium. It is also known as Kapelmuur, Muur-Kapelmuur or simply Muur. The hill starts near the river Dender at 18 m and reaches the top of the Oudenberg at 110 m after 1,075 m at 9.3 per cent. This climb is often part of the Tour of Flanders professional cycling race.
