Riddim is the Jamaican Patois pronunciation of the English word "rhythm". In reggae, dancehall, calypso, soca, grime, and reggaeton parlance it refers to the instrumental accompaniment to a song. These genres consist of the riddim plus the "voicing" sung by the deejay. The resulting song structure is distinctive in many ways. T.O.K.

T.O.K. were a dancehall reggae group from Kingston, Jamaica. The group consisted of Alistaire "Alex" McCalla, Roshaun "Bay-C" Clarke, Craig "Craigy T" Thompson, and Xavier "Flexx" Davidson. They started their band in 1996, and announced its dissolution in 2015.

The tour was done to promote the 1995 HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I album, with hit singles like Scream, They Don't Care About Us, Earth Song and You Are Not Alone appearing in the new setlist. The second leg also promoted the remix album Blood on the Dance Floor: HIStory in the Mix. The tour was attended by approximately 4.5 million fans, beating his previous Bad World Tour with 4.4 million.

VP Records is an independent Caribbean-owned record label in Queens, New York. The label is known for releasing music by notable artists in reggae, dancehall and soca. VP Records has offices in New York City, Miami, London, Kingston, Tokyo, Johannesburg and Rio de Janeiro. Additionally, the label has established a presence in Toronto, Australia and New Zealand.

Reggae fusion is a genre of reggae that mixes reggae or dancehall with other genres, such as pop, rock, R&B, jazz and drum and bass.

Sister Nancy, aka Muma Nancy, real name Ophlin Russell, is a Jamaican dancehall DJ and singer. She is known to the world as the first female dancehall DJ and was described as being a "dominating female voice for over two decades" on the dancehall scene.

Wayne Marshall (deejay)

Wayne Mitchell, better known by his stage name Wayne Marshall, is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist. He is most notable for his collaborations with Sean Paul, Elephant Man and Beenie Man. Giselle Bellas Cuban-American singer-songwriter

Giselle Bellas, is a Cuban-American singer-songwriter. Born in Miami, Florida, and based out of New York City, she is most known for her work on season 5 of Louis C.K.'s FX series Louie.
