My Eternal Summer had its world premiere at the 72nd San Sebastián International Film Festival on 23 September 2024, competing for the Kutxabank-New Directors Award. [3] The film also was screened at the 2024 BFI London Film Festival, competing for the Sutherland Trophy. [4]

Prior to its world premiere, TrustNordisk boarded the film's international sales. [5] The film is set to be released in Danish theatres on 30 January 2025. [6]
