504 Boyz were an American hip hop group led by Percy Miller, a.k.a. Master P of No Limit Records recording artist from New Orleans, Louisiana formed in 2000 and disbanded in 2006. The group's name is a reference to the area code 504, which covers greater New Orleans, Louisiana. Originally the group consisted of Master P, Mystikal and Silkk The Shocker. Right before the release of their first album C-Murder & Krazy were added to the lineup. Lloyd Polite Jr., better known by his mononym Lloyd, is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, and actor. Lloyd began his career in music as a member of the preteen-boy band N-Toon. The group disbanded in 2001 and Lloyd embarked on a solo career in 2003. He subsequently signed a recording contract with Murder Inc. Records and Def Jam Recordings. In 2004, Lloyd released his solo debut single "Southside", the title track of his debut album, Southside. He originally went under the stage name Silkk, but later adopted Silkk the Shocker after the release of his first album. He has now signed partnership with his brother Master P and his nephew Romeo label No Limit Forever.
Big Boy Records also known as the Boot Camp Clicc, was an independent record label established in late 1992 by Charles "Big Boy" Temple; Robert "Big Rob" Shaw"; Leroy "Precise" Edwards and his producer Leroy "Precise" Edwards. For several years in the 1990s, Big Boy Records ruled the hip hop music industry in New Orleans until No Limit Records and Cash Money Records became powerhouse labels.
