The MYX VJ Search is a special competition held annually by MYX, the number one music channel in the Philippines. It gives young people the chance to fulfill their dreams of becoming the next MYX VJ.
Auditions are held at ABS-CBN in Quezon City, usually on four separate dates within the same month. After the auditions, 12 finalists are chosen who then go through a training experience process usually lasting up to two months. The MYX VJ Search is broadcast on MYX and split into 8 episodes, the last episode being the finals night, in which the winners are announced. The winners are chosen by MYX, through the text votes of the viewers and by the MYX team's own selection.
For the MYX VJ Searches 2007, 2008 and 2017, four winners were chosen on the finals night, two males and two females. For the MYX VJ Searches 2009 and 2018 there were only two grand winners, while for the MYX VJ Searches 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2019, three winners were selected. There was no public search in 2013, 2015 and 2016; only private auditions were held.

Juan Karlos Labajo is a Filipino singer, musician, and actor. Labajo rose to fame at age 13 when he finished third in the first season (2014) of The Voice Kids. Be The Light: The BGYO Launch was the official media launch by the P-Pop boy group, BGYO presented by Star Magic and "Star Hunt Academy". It was supported by the world premiere of the band's most anticipated debut single The Light. Idol Philippines is a Philippine television interactive reality competition show broadcast by ABS-CBN and Kapamilya Channel. Created and developed by FremantleMedia and 19 Entertainment, the program is a franchise of Pop Idol created by British entertainment executive Simon Fuller, the show is the third and final incarnation of Philippine Idol. Originally hosted by Billy Crawford and originally judges by Regine Velasquez, Vice Ganda, James Reid and Moira Dela Torre, it aired on the network's Yes Weekend line up from April 21, 2019 to September 18, 2022, replacing World of Dance Philippines and was replaced by Everybody, Sing!. Robi Domingo serve as the final hosts and Velasquez, Dela Torre, Gary Valenciano and Chito Miranda serve as the final judges.
The second season of the reality singing television competition Idol Philippines aired on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and TV5 from June 25 to September 18, 2022. It replaced My Papa Pi and Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10 and was succeeded by the second season of Everybody, Sing!. This was the first season not to air on ABS-CBN after the network was ordered by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) and Solicitor General Jose Calida to cease its free-to-air television and radio broadcast operations on May 5, 2020, following the expiration of its congressional franchise.
The Myx Awards 2024 was the 17th installment of the Myx Music Awards, acknowledging the biggest hit makers of 2024 in the Philippine music industry. Samm Alvero and Edward Barber are the presenters of this edition.
