Mónica Ramos Santana (born 14 October 1998) is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Grêmio and the Colombia women's national team.

Ramos made her international debut in a friendly against the United States on 17 June 2022. [1] On 3 July, she was called up by Nelson Abadía to represent Colombia at the 2022 Copa América Femenina. [2]

The 2022 Copa América Femenina was the 9th edition of the main international women's football championship in South America, the Copa América Femenina, for national teams affiliated with CONMEBOL. The competition was held in Colombia from 8 to 30 July 2022.

The 2021 Copa América was an international football tournament held in Brazil from 13 June to 10 July 2021. The ten national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of up to 28 players, including at least three goalkeepers, an increase over the usual number of 23 players allowed. Only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament.
