The Cabinet of the state of Andhra Pradesh, India, forms the executives branch of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Andhra Pradesh is one of the 29 states of India. Situated in the south-east of the country, it is the seventh-largest state in India, covering an area of 160,205 km2 (61,855 sq mi). As per the 2011 census, it is the tenth-most populous state, with 49,386,799 inhabitants. The largest city in Andhra Pradesh is Visakhapatnam. Telugu, one of the classical languages of India, is the major and official language of Andhra Pradesh.
India, also known as the Republic of India, is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by area, the second-most populous country, and the most populous democracy in the world. Bounded by the Indian Ocean on the south, the Arabian Sea on the southwest, and the Bay of Bengal on the southeast, it shares land borders with Pakistan to the west; China, Nepal, and Bhutan to the northeast; and Bangladesh and Myanmar to the east. In the Indian Ocean, India is in the vicinity of Sri Lanka and the Maldives; its Andaman and Nicobar Islands share a maritime border with Thailand and Indonesia.
Government of Andhra Pradesh is the government for the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is an elected government with 175 MLAs elected to the legislative assembly for a 5-year term Government of Andhra Pradesh is a democratically elected body that governs the State of Andhra Pradesh, India. The state government is headed by the Governor of Andhra Pradesh as the nominal head of state, with a democratically elected Chief Minister as the real head of the executive. The governor who is appointed for five years appoints the Chief Minister and his Council of Ministers. Even though the governor remains the ceremonial head of the state, the day-to-day running of the government is taken care of by the Chief Minister and his Council of Ministers in whom a great deal of legislative powers is vested. The state government maintains its capital at Amaravati and is seated at the Government Secretariat or the Sachivalayam.
The State Cabinet of Andhra Pradesh was sworn in on 8, June, 2014. A total of 23 ministers including N.Chandrababu Naidu took charge as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. [1]
Nara Chandrababu Naidu is an Indian politician who was the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh serving since 2014. He was the first chief minister of the state since it was divided. Previously he served as Chief Minister of esrtwhile united Andhra Pradesh from 1994 to 2004, before the state was divided, and as the Leader of the opposition in the United Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly from 2004 to 2014. He is currently the National President of Telugu Desam Party.

Telugu Desam Party, abbreviated as TDP, is a regional political party active in the southern states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The party was founded by N.T. Ramarao on 29 March 1982. After 1995, the party is headed by N. Chandrababu Naidu, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The party's headquarters is located at NTR Bhavan in Hyderabad.
Shri Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu is an Indian politician and the current Vice President of India and the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, in office since 11 August 2017. Previously, he served as the Minister of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, Urban Development and Information and Broadcasting in the Modi Cabinet. A prominent leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he also served as its national president from 2002 to 2004. Sushilkumar Sambhaji Shinde is an Indian politician from the state of Maharashtra. He was the Minister of Home Affairs, Minister of Power in the Manmohan Singh government, and the Leader of the House in Lok Sabha until 26 May 2014. Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao better known and abbreviated as K.C.R., is an Indian politician and the first Chief Minister of Telangana, a new state formed by the division of Andhra Pradesh in 2014. He is the leader and Founder of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, a regional party in India. He is a Member of the Legislative Assembly (Telangana) from the Gajwel constituency of Siddipet District in Telangana. Previously, he served as the Member of the Legislative Assembly from Siddipet and also as the Member of Parliament from Mahbubnagar, Karimnagar and Medak. He took oath as the first Chief Minister of the new state of Telangana on 2 June 2014. He went for early elections in 2018, when his cabinet recommended to dissolve the legislative lower house, Nine months before the completion of his term. He again took oath as the Chief Minister of Telangana for the second term on 13th December 2018.
Konijeti Rosaiah is an Indian politician who was Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh from 2009 to 2010 and Governor of Tamil Nadu from 2011 to 2016. Piyush Ved Prakash Goyal is an Indian politician and the current minister of Railways and Coal in the Government of India. He was elevated to Cabinet Minister position on 3 September 2017. He is currently a Member of Parliament for Rajya Sabha from the state of Maharashtra and was earlier the National Treasurer of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He headed the BJP's Information Communication Campaign Committee and oversaw the publicity and advertising campaign of the party including the social media outreach for the Indian General Elections 2014. Goyal is the 2018 Carnot Prize Recipient for distinguished contributions to energy policy.
Nirmala Sitharaman is an Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), serving as the Minister of Defence of India since 2017 and has served as Member of the Rajya Sabha, upper house of the Indian Parliament, since 2016. Sitharaman is India's second female defence minister. Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy is an Indian politician who served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He was the last Chief Minister of the United Andhra Pradesh before the formation of the Telangana state on June 2, 2014. Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy was sworn in as the 16th Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on 25 November 2010. A four-time Member of the Legislative Assembly in Andhra Pradesh, he was a leader of the Indian National Congress party before resigning from it in February 2014 over the creation of Telangana state. Concurrently Reddy also submitted his resignation from the chief ministership to Governor E. S. L. Narasimhan; the latter accepted the resignation, but asked Reddy to continue as caretaker chief minister. President's Rule was imposed in the state on 1 March 2014. On March 10, 2014 he floated his new political outfit called Jai Samaikyandhra Party.
YSR Congress Party, an acronym for Yuvajana Sramika Raithu Congress Party which literally means Youth, Labour and Farmer Congress Party, is a regional political party in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. Currently, its president is Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy, the son of former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy. Both YSR and Jaganmohan Reddy had been members of the Indian National Congress. Jagan was also elected as the national president of YSR congress.
The Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014, popularly known as the Telangana Act is an Act of Indian Parliament that bifurcated the state of Andhra Pradesh into Telangana and the residuary Andhra Pradesh state, due to the Telangana movement.
