Sattam En Kaiyil is a 1978 Indian Tamil-language action film written, produced and directed by T. N. Balu. The film stars Kamal Haasan and Sripriya, while Sathyaraj made his screen debut. It was released on 14 July 1978 and became a success. The film was remade in Hindi as Yeh To Kamaal Ho Gaya (1982), with Haasan returning.
Sankarlal is a 1981 Indian Tamil-language action film, written, directed and produced by T. N. Balu. It stars Kamal Haasan in dual lead roles as father and son. Balu died half-way during production, and the film was eventually completed with N. K. Viswanathan as director. The film was simultaneously shot in Telugu-language as Andagaadu (transl. Handsome) with Allu Rama Lingaiah and Rao Gopal Rao.

It revolves around a man who seeks to kill three men to avenge his father and elder sister, while his other sister, a police inspector, wants to thwart them the legal way.

Vennira Aadai Moorthy is an Indian actor and comedian in Tamil cinema. He has starred in many Tamil films and television serials as a comedian and also played supporting roles. He is a lawyer by education, and holds a B.L. degree in addition to a PhD in astrology. He is married to actress Manimala who played Suhasini's mother in Sindhu Bhairavi and the heroine in Vallavanukku Vallavan (1965). He is also a well known script-writer. Kamal Haasan's first full-fledged film as hero Maalai Sooda Vaa, had Murthy as a script writer.

Jaganmohini is a 2009 Indian Tamil-language historical horror film directed by N. K. Viswanathan. It is based on B. Vittalacharya's 1978 Telugu film of the same name which itself was a remake of the 1951 Kannada film Jaganmohini. The filmstars Raja, Namitha and Nila. It was partially reshot into Telugu with the same name and dubbed in Bengali as Mayabini Kanya. The film bombed at the box office.
Narasimha Raju or Narasimharaju is a Telugu film and television actor. He rose to the heights of stardom with his movies Needaleni Adadi (1974), Thoorpu Padamara (1976), Kanya-Kumari (1977), Idekkadi Nyayam (1977), and Jaganmohini (1978). He is considered the folk hero of the generation next to the likes of N. T. Rama Rao and Kanta Rao. He is also known by the moniker Andhra Kamal Haasan.
V S Raghavan was an Indian actor, who has acted both in Tamil films as well as television. He started his career as a dramatist and stage actor and went on to act as a character actor in films, starting with Vairamali (1954) and over 1000 films in all. He has also acted in numerous television series. He died on 24 January 2015.

Viswanathan Ramamoorthy is a 2001 Indian Tamil language film written and directed by Rama Narayanan. The film stars Ramki, Vivek, Roja, Vindhya, and Kovai Sarala. It was released on 10 August 2001. The film is inspired by the 1970 Tamil film Veettuku Veedu which was based on Chithralaya Gopu's play Thikku Theriyatha Veettil which in turn was an adaptation of the English comedy play Right Bed Wrong Husband. The film's title pays homage to the composer duo Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy.
Chandrasekhar, also known as Vagai Chandrasekhar, is an Indian stage, film and television actor working in Tamil language films, known for his histrionics. He is currently the Chairman of Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Mandram. He played lead or supportive roles in Tamil films of the 1980s. He won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the 2002 film Nanba Nanba. He contested and won from Velachery constituency in State legislative assembly election 2016 from DMK party.
Ashok Kumar Aggarwal was an Indian cinematographer who worked mainly in the South Indian film industry. In a career that spanned nearly four decades, he worked in over 125 feature films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi languages. Aggarwal was a member of the Indian Society of Cinematographers (ISC).

Pookkari is a 1973 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Krishnan–Panju and produced by Anjugam Pictures. It stars M. K. Muthu, Manjula, Vennira Aadai Nirmala, Jayachitra, Jayakumari and Ambareesh. The film was released on 25 October 1973, and failed commercially. The film was remade in Kannada as Halli Haida directed by Amirtham, cinematographer of the original with Ambareesh reprising his role.
T. N. Balu was an Indian writer, director and producer who worked in Tamil cinema. He was active in the second half of the 1900s, and shared a close association with the former chief ministers of Tamil Nadu Karunanidhi.
