Naresh Kumar Mandal (born 13 April 1986), professionally known as N. Mandal, is an Indian film editor, director and producer working primarily in regional and independent cinema in India. ^{[1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8]}

He is the founder and director of the Shivaay Productions and Sincine Film Festival, an independent platform for regional and short films. ^{[9] [10] [11] [12]} He is also the founder and editor of Gaam Ghar, a digital news platform based in Bihar. ^[13]

Career

N. Mandal began his career as a film editor and later transitioned into directing documentaries and short films. ^[14] His short film NASA: The Error was announced for streaming on the digital platform Shivaay Originals. ^[15] N Mandal participated as a speaker in the "Symposium on Maithili Cinema and Literature" organised by the Sahitya Akademi in 2023. ^[16] His contributions to Maithili-language cinema Rakhi Ke Laaj and documentary filmmaking have been discussed in books and media articles on the history of Maithili cinema. ^{[17] [18] [19] [20] [21]}
