The N710 or Upper Jashore Road is a National Highway in Bangladesh. It is the shortest listed highway by length in Bangladesh. [1] This road goes through a busiest commercial area of Khulna City.

Since Bangladesh's independence in 1971, the transportation sector has grown rapidly and transportation medium on land and rivers have begun to develop. Air travel came into existence later. Though Bangladesh has greatly evolved in the transportation sector, it still has many flaws which hamper the development of other economic and social sectors. The Grand Trunk Road is one of Asia's oldest and longest major roads. For at least 2,500 years it has linked Central Asia to the Indian subcontinent. The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region is a Government of India ministry, established in September 2001, which functions as the nodal Department of the Central Government to deal with matters related to the socio-economic development of the eight States of Northeast India: Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura and Sikkim. The N1 or Dhaka–Chittagong Highway is a main transportation artery in Bangladesh, between Dhaka and Chittagong. Approximately 465 kilometres in length, the road links the country's two largest cities, Dhaka and Chittagong. The highway is known along various stretches as the Chittagong–Cox's Bazar Highway and the Cox's Bazar–Teknaf Highway. Currently four lanes with a eight-lane expansion underway, the N1 is the busiest road in the country and a top development priority. Construction of a larger Dhaka-Chittagong expressway has been proposed to decrease traffic on the highway.
The Kaladan Road Project is a US$484 million project connecting the eastern Indian seaport of Kolkata with Sittwe seaport in Rakhine State, Myanmar by sea. In Myanmar, it will then link Sittwe seaport to Paletwa in Chin State via the Kaladan river boat route, and then from Paletwa by road to Mizoram state in Northeast India. All components of the project, including Sittwe port and power, river dredging, Paletwa jetty, have been completed, except the under construction Zorinpui-Paletwa road. Originally, the project was scheduled to be completed by 2014, but end-to-end project is expected to be fully operational only by March 2023 as per March 2021 update.
The N2 is a Bangladeshi national highway connecting the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka and the town of Tamabil in the Sylhet District. The route passes through the city of Sylhet, crossing the Surma River on the Keane bridge, and sections of the highway are known as the Dhaka–Sylhet Highway and the Sylhet-Tamabil Highway. It is part of AH1 and AH2 in the Asian Highway Network.
The N7 is a Bangladeshi national highway connecting the Daulatdia Ferry Terminal, on the south bank of the Padma River near the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka, with the Port of Mongla in Bagerhat District. It serves some of the largest cities and towns in southwestern Bangladesh, including Faridpur, Magura, Jhenaidah, Jessore, and Khulna. The highway is known along various stretches as the Dhaka–Khulna Highway, the Jessore-Khulna Highway, and the Khulna-Mongla Highway.
Obaidul Quader is a Bangladeshi politician who has been General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League since October 2016. He has served as the Minister of Road Transport and Bridges since December 2011 and as a Member of Parliament representing the Noakhali-5 constituency since January 2009. He is also Media Adviser for the Bangladesh Awami League and regularly conducts press conferences on their behalf. He was the State Minister for Youth and Sports from 1996 to 2001.
The N102 is a main transportation artery in Bangladesh, between Comilla and Brahmanbaria. It connects Chittagong Division to Sylhet Division. The highway is known along various stretches as the Comilla-Sylhet Highway.
National Highway 10 is a national highway in North East India that connects Indo/Bangladesh border via Siliguri to Gangtok. It passes through the Indian states of West Bengal and Sikkim.
National Highway 717 is a national highway in India. This highway runs entirely in the state of West Bengal. It is a secondary route of National Highway 17. Prior to renumbering of national highways in 2010, the stretch between Chalsa and Mainaguri was part of old national highway 31. By a gazette notification on 27 December 2013, NH-717 route was extended from Mainaguri to land border crossing of India/Bangladesh border near Changrabandha. Mainaguri to Changrabandha stretch of this route is part of Asian Highway 48.

National Highway 512 is a highway in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is proposed to build four lane road. It runs from Gazole to Hili border with Bangladesh. On the other side of the border, the road continues as Hili-Birampur Highway.
