The National Association of College & University Entrepreneurs, abbreviated to and operating as NACUE, is a national organisation in the United Kingdom that promotes entrepreneurship amongst students in higher education and further education. It supports student enterprise societies at colleges and universities, through its existing network of 240 enterprise societies, as well as assisting new societies.

NACUE was founded in 2009, bringing together twelve enterprise societies at universities across the country. [1] It became a charity in 2011, by which time its network consisted of 70 societies. [2] At this stage, the government set an aim of having an enterprise society at every university in the country, with the network growing to 130 societies by 2013, almost 200 by 2014, [3] and over 240 by 2015. [4]

NACUE also organises events throughout the year. NACUE's largest event is the annual Student Enterprise Conference; [5] the most recent conference, in March 2017,at the University of Lincoln. Other member institutions who have hosted in the last seven years include UCL, Liverpool John Moores and jointly at Sheffield Hallam Universities and The Sheffield College. [6] [7] The Student Enterprise Conference is Europe's largest conference dedicated to student enterprise. [6]

NACUE's CEO is Holly Knower, while its chairman is John MacIntyre. [4]

The purpose of the organization is to provide services for companies, institutions and society, often in the form of consultancies, while enriching the learning of its members with practical experience in the field of their studies. Often, a junior enterprise is linked to a particular university or business school; by internal regulation, in most of the cases a student must be studying at the specific university in order to actively join the organization.

The National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE) is a non-profit membership organization founded in 2002 on the campus of Springfield Technical Community College in Springfield, Massachusetts, to serve the mission of accelerating entrepreneurship at community and technical colleges in the United States. The Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion is one of the Queen's Awards for Enterprise, and is awarded annually to people who play an outstanding role in promoting the growth of business enterprise and/or entrepreneurial skills in other people. ERENET organization

ERENET is an open-ended research and development network aiming at carrying out research on entrepreneurship and developing entrepreneurial curricula and teaching materials among the Central- and Eastern European high-schools and academic universities. SETsquared

The SETsquared Partnership, usually known simply as SETsquared, is a business incubation network run by five universities in Southern England. SETsquared stands for Southern England Technology Triangle. The partnership was formed in 2002, between the University of Bath, the University of Bristol, the University of Southampton and the University of Surrey.
