Toji (Korean: 토지), known in English as Land, is a 16-volume Korean novel written by Park Kyong-ni from 1969 to 1994. It tells the story of five generations of a wealthy Korean family from South Gyeongsang Province. The novel was very popular in South Korea, where it was made into a television series. Part I was translated into English by Agnita Tennant, as part of a UNESCO Collection of Representative Works project.

Me2day (Korean: 미투데이) was a microblogging and social networking service in South Korea acquired and owned by NHN Corporation. Similar to Twitter, Me2day was popular in South Korea with earlier establishments in android market, especially among adolescents and youth of twenties. Me2DAY had an open API and most of the applications built around it added entertainment benefits to the site. OpenID was available until March 2010, but since then until the site's closure at the end of June 2014, registration was required. Information acquired during registration included only email address, ID, and password. It allowed users to send and receive up to 150 characters to each other. Many people like Big Bang, Wonder Girls, 2NE1, F(x), 2PM, Kim Tae-hee, SHINee, U-Kiss and Seoul Samsung Thunders used the service as a way of keeping their fans updated about their whereabouts. The individual chapters were released by NHN Japan on the Comico website from October 12, 2013, to March 16, 2018, for a total of 15 compiled tankōbon volumes published by Earth Star Entertainment. An anime television series adaptation animated by TMS Entertainment was announced on February 13, 2015, and premiered on television on July 2, 2016. On June 24, 2016, the series was released in full on the web. A live action film adaptation of the same name was released in 2017. In 2017, the manga won in France's Mangawa Award.

Comico is a webtoon portal based in Japan that is part of NHN Japan Corporation. NHN Japan first launched its webtoon platform Comico in Japan in 2013. It was then followed by a launch in Taiwan in 2014 and then in Thailand and South Korea in 2016 followed by Indonesia and Spanish language in 2017. Comico launched its service in Vietnam in April 2020 and in July 2020 launched its English language service under the name "Pocket Comics". Comico has also stated that it will relaunch its Spanish service with the "Pocket Comics" brand later in the future. In 2017, Nielsen Media Research found it to be the second largest website for digital comics in Japan based on the number of users. The Taiwanese version of "Comico" was rebranded to the "Pocket Comics" branding soon after the launch. On January 24, 2022, NHN Japan launched French language service for Pocket Comics. That same year, a German language service was launched.
