Nadine Emilie Voindrouh or simply Nadine (born February 24, 1977) [3] is a Romanian singer, actress and television presenter. She is of Congolese descent through her father. [4]

She was born in Bucharest to a Romanian mother who died when she was young and a Congolese father, whom she never met. [5]

Nadine was orphaned when she was only six years old, and lived in an orphanage. She lived in the United States seven years. [6]

Alexandra Ioana Stan is a Romanian singer-songwriter. Born in the city of Constanța, she made her worldwide breakthrough with the 2010 single "Mr. Saxobeat", which was written and produced by Marcel Prodan and Andrei Nemirschi. They had previously discovered Stan at a karaoke bar in 2009 and signed her to their label, Maan Records. Street dogs in Bucharest

In Bucharest – the capital city of Romania – the problem of stray dogs has been acknowledged for decades. The number of stray dogs has been reduced drastically since 2014, following the death of a four-year-old child who was attacked by a dog. In 2015, the Bucharest City Hall stated that over 51,200 stray dogs were captured between October 2013 and January 2015, with more than half being euthanized, about 23,000 being adopted, and 2,000 still residing in the municipality's shelters. The issue has not only been a heated subject of debate in Bucharest, but also on a nationwide scale.

The Save Romania Union is a liberal and progressive political party in Romania, currently the third largest party both in the Parliament and locally at nationwide level. There were numerous protests against the Romanian Government between 2017 and 2019. In January 2017, days after the government of the Grindeanu Cabinet was sworn into office in Romania, protests took place throughout the country against ordinance bills that were proposed by the Romanian Ministry of Justice regarding the pardoning of certain committed crimes, and the amendment of the Penal Code of Romania. At the heart of these protests is the community Corruption Kills, founded by Florin Bădiță, who alongside other civic groups organized what proved to be the largest protests since 1989, thus realizing the "Revolution of our generation".

USR PLUS Romanian electoral alliance

USR PLUS was a Romanian progressive, liberal, and centrist electoral alliance active between 2019 and 2021. Established on 2 February 2019 between the political parties Save Romania Union (USR) and the Freedom, Unity and Solidarity Party (PLUS) it was initially called 2020 USR-PLUS Alliance. Kira Hagi is a Romanian actress. Her first theatre actuation was Fetița cu chibrituri. She subsequently also acted on the Comedy Theatre and the Very Small Theatre of Bucharest. On her last year of Baccalaureate, she began to form herself with the help of the actor and professor Filip Ristovski. In 2013, Hagi started acting professionally for her debuting film București, te iubesc at age 17. The film came out in 2014. Posteriorly, Hagi was admitted to the New York Film Academy and studied in the United States for three years, but returned to Romania some time after. Hagi has also made several paintings, some of which have been sold or exposed in public galleries and private collections.
