The Supreme Court of Pakistan is the apex court in the judicial hierarchy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Pishin,IPA:pʂin/pçin,is a district in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. District Pishin is located at a strategic point and is 45km²from the provincial headquarters. In 1975,it was bifurcated from Quetta District,while in 1993 part of it was split off to form the new district of Killa Abdullah. Again in 2022,part of it was crated the new district of Karezat.The name Pishin is a modernized form of ‘Pushang’,which is how the city was designated in Persian sources. Myth attributes the origin of the Persian designation to a son of the mythical Emperor Afrasiab. Fushing was the spelling used in the records of the Afghan government. The population of Pishin District was 300,000 in 2005.
The Lahore High Court is a provincial court house based in Lahore,Punjab,Pakistan. It was established as a high court on 21 March 1882. The Lahore High Court has jurisdiction over the province of Punjab. The High Court's principal seat is in Lahore,but there are benches in three other cities of the province:Rawalpindi,Multan and Bahawalpur.
Qari Saifullah Akhtar was an alleged member of Al-Qaeda who was in Pakistani custody a few times prior to his death. Akhtar,a graduate of Jamia Uloom-ul-Islamia in Karachi,had been the leader of Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami (HUJI),a jihadi organization. He was a key figure and founder of HUJI and was involved in jihadi groups since the early 1980s. He was appointed the head of HUJI following the killing of Mawlana Irshad Ahmed at Sharana during clashes with Soviet forces in June 1985. He was reportedly involved in the 1995 coup attempt to topple the Pakistani government led by Benazir Bhutto. When HUJI merged with Harkat-ul-Mujahideen (HUM) around 1990 to form Harkat-ul-Ansar (HUA),Akhtar acted as deputy to former HUM leader and then amir Maulana Fazalur Rehman Khalil. HUA dissolved back into two separate groups in 1997,allowing Akhtar to become amir of HUJI. Since 1998 when Osama bin Laden released a fatwa under the banner World Islamic Front for Jihad Against the Jews and Crusaders,segments of HUJI have joined al-Qaeda. It has been reported that Akhtar was running a training camp at Rishkhor,Afghanistan before the US invaded Afghanistan in 2001,and had trained 3,500 persons in conventional and unconventional combat. He disappeared from Afghanistan but was apprehended in August 2004 in the United Arab Emirates. He was then handed over to Pakistan.
Akhtar Mengal is a Pakistani politician from Balochistan who is the chairman of Balochistan National Party (Mengal). He previously served as the Chief Minister of Balochistan between 1997 and 1998 and later he served as a member of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly. Mengal also served as a member of National Assembly of Pakistan from August 2018 till August 2023.
The High Court of Sindh is the highest judicial institution of the Pakistani province of Sindh. Established in 1906,the Court situated in the provincial capital at Karachi. Apart from being the highest Court of Appeal for Sindh in civil and criminal matters,the Court was the District Court and the Court of Session in Karachi.

The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBAP) is an association established in 1989 comprising the supreme court lawyers in Pakistan. The Legal Practitioners and Bar Councils Act 1973 provides for the forming,recognition and functioning of Bar Associations for supreme court lawyers working under the control of Pakistan Bar Council. It is an independent Bar association whose aim is to uphold the rule of law and the cause of justice and protect and promote the interest of the legal profession as well as that of the public.
Qazi Muhammad Isa was a Pakistani politician and one of the leading founding fathers of Pakistan. He was an advocate of the Pakistan Movement and represented Balochistan in the Lahore Conference that led to the ratification of Lahore Resolution. He led the Muslim League's branches in Balochistan and NWFP. His son Qazi Faez Isa is the current Chief Justice of Pakistan.

Presidential elections were held on 30 July 2013 in Pakistan to elect the 12th President of Pakistan. Incumbent President Asif Ali Zardari’s term was scheduled to expire on 8 September 2013;and as such,Article 41 of the Constitution of Pakistan required the elections to be held no later than 8 August 2013. The Electoral College of Pakistan –a joint sitting of the Senate,National Assembly and Provincial Assemblies –were tasked with electing a new president to succeed President Zardari,who declined to seek a second term in office. After the Pakistan Peoples Party and its allies boycotted the presidential election,the two candidates were Mamnoon Hussain backed by the Pakistan Muslim League (N),and Wajihuddin Ahmed backed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Agra-born Hussain was elected president by a majority securing 432 votes. The elections were the first time in Pakistani history where a civilian president was elected while an incumbent civilian President was still in office,completing a historic and democratic transition of power that began with the 2013 General Elections.
Mian Saqib Nisar is a Pakistani jurist who served as the 25th Chief Justice of Pakistan from 31 December 2016 till 17 January 2019. He has previously served as the Law Secretary. He also served as a visiting professor of law at the University of the Punjab,where he provided instructions on constitutional law.
Umar Ata Bandial is a Pakistani jurist who served as the 28th Chief Justice of Pakistan from February 2022 to September 2023. He was appointed as the Chief Justice after the approval by President Arif Alvi on 13 January 2022,after which he assumed his office on 2 February 2022 and retired on 16 September 2023.

He was a member of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan for two years from 2019 to 2021.
