Nagaland Congress is a regional political party in the Indian state of Nagaland.

The party was founded in 2016 as a splinter group of the Indian National Congress.

Nagaland Congress is planning to rename the party as Nagaland Reformation Party. [1]

In 2018 February, the party merged with National People's Party (NPP).

Naga Peoples Front Political party in India

The Naga People's Front (NPF) is a regional political party in Nagaland and Manipur, India. It headed the Nagaland government with the Bharatiya Janata Party, as part of the Democratic Alliance of Nagaland from 2003 to 2018. Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu is the president of the party. K. L. Chishi is an Indian politician from Indian National Congress. He was the founder chief of the Nationalist Democratic Movement, a political party in the Indian state of Nagaland. He served Chief Ministers of Nagaland in 1990 for 28 days after which he resigned from office. He left Indian National Congress to join Bharatiya Janata Party in January 2018. He rejoined Indian National Congress on 14 March 2019.

K. Sankaranarayanan

Kateekal Sankaranarayanan is the ex-governor of the Indian state of Maharashtra. He had also served as the Governor of Nagaland and Jharkhand. Prior to his appointment as governor, he had served as a minister in several Congress led governments of Kerala headed by Chief Ministers A K Antony and K. Karunakaran. On 24 August 2014 he was transferred by the NDA government to Mizoram.

T. R. Zeliang

Taditui Rangkau Zeliang is an Indian politician of who served twice as the Chief Minister of Nagaland, a state in India, from May 2014 to February 2017 and from July 2017 to March 2018. A leader of the Naga People's Front, T.R Zeliang took over the reins as Chief Minister of Nagaland following the shift of Neiphiu Rio to national-level politics. T.R Zeliang previously served as a Member of Parliament, representing Nagaland in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament. Currently, he serves as the Leader of the NPF Legislature Party and Leader of Opposition in Nagaland Legislative Assembly.

Tokheho Yepthomi is an Indian politician from Nagaland. He is a former Cabinet Minister of Nagaland and currently Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha for Nagaland.

Hokishe Sema Indian politician

Hokishe Sema was an Indian politician. He was the third Chief Minister of Nagaland and the fourth Governor of Himachal Pradesh. He was also a member of the drafting committee of Naga People's Convention.

Elections to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly were held in February 1998 to elect members of the 60 constituencies in Nagaland, India. The Indian National Congress won a majority of the seats and S. C. Jamir was re-appointed as the Chief Minister of Nagaland. The number of constituencies was set as 60 by the recommendation of the Delimitation Commission of India.
