Najwa Al-Rayyahii (born December 2, 1962, in Tunis) is a Tunisian writer and academic. She is as a lecturer at the Department of Arabic Language, Faculty of Humanities and Social sciences in Tunis. [1]

Education

She obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the Montfleury Institute in Tunis in 1983, then she obtained a professorship in Arabic language and literature from the Faculty of Arts in Manouba in 1987; she also obtained a certificate of competence in research from the Faculty of Arts in Tunis in 1988 with research entitled: “Artistic styles and their implications in the novel Ahlam Shahrazad by Taha.” Hussain". Afterwards she obtained a degree in depth in research, and a doctorate in a third stage from the Faculty of Letters and Human sciences in Tunis in 1992 for a thesis entitled: “Research, Dream and Defeat in the Novels of Abd al-Rahman Munif.” She also obtained a state doctorate in Arabic language and literature from the Faculty of Letters, Arts and Humanities in Manouba in 2004 with research entitled “Description in the Modern Arabic Novel.” [1]

Career

She began her work in secondary education in 1987 at the Russia Approach Institute in Tunisia, and continued there until 1992. Then she moved to work in higher education, working as a secondary education professor attached to higher education at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Tunis, Department of Arabic Language between 1992 and 1993, then as an assistant at the faculty until 1996, then an assistant professor at the college until 2004, until she became a lecturer at the college since that year. She is also a member of the Master's Committee at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Arabic Language in Tunis, and a member of the Master's Committee at the Faculty of Letters, Arts and Humanities, Department of Arabic Language in Manouba. Abdul-Rahman al-Tha'alibi, was an Arab Scholar, Imam and Sufi wali. He was born near the town of Isser 86 km south east of Algiers. He was raised in a very spiritual environment with high Islamic values and ethics. He had great interpersonal skills and devoted his entire life in service of the most deprived, to dhikr of Allah, and to writing of over 100 books and treatises.

Khalīl ibn Aybak al-Ṣafadī, or Salah al-Dīn al-Ṣafadī; full name - Salah al-Dīn Abū al-Ṣafa Khalīl ibn Aybak ibn ‘Abd Allāh al-Albakī al-Ṣafari al-Damascī Shafi'i. ; he was a Turkic Mamluk author and historian. He studied under the historian and Shafi'i scholar, al-Dhahabi.

He published many books including “Roses and Ash” and “The Romantic Man” which was a translation of Georges Gusdorf’s book “L’homme Romantique”. He won several awards including the Translation Award of Sheikh Zayed Book Award in 2020.

Fawzia Abd Al-Minem Al-Ashmawi is an Egyptian academic, writer and translator. She works as a Professor of Arabic Literature and Islamic Civilisation in the University of Geneva. She had won the Golden Award in Sciences and Arts from Egypt.

Ibrahim Mohammed Mahmoud al-Kufahi is a Jordanian poet, critic and professor. He was born in Irbid, Jordan on March 1, 1967, and it is where he studied. He obtained a degree in Arabic language and literature from Yarmouk University and a master's degree in literature and criticism from the same university. He worked as an Arabic teacher publishing his literary works in Jordanian newspapers and magazines such as Al Ra'i, Yarmouk and Voice of the Generation. He has a collection of poetry entitled The Qur’an and Venice (1991) and several other works.

Hind bint Abd al-Razzaq Huwayl al-Mutayri is a Saudi poet, writer and academic. She was born and raised in Taif, and it is where she received her education. She obtained a degree in the Arabic Language from King Saud University (1995) and a Ph.D. in Arabic Literature and Criticism from the Department of Arabic Language and Literature. She has participated in events, poetry slams, and readings both locally and internationally. She is also a member of Riyadh Literary Club and has two poetry collections and several critical and literary works.

Asma bint Muqbi bin Awad Al-Ahmadi is a Saudi academic writer and critic.

Abdul Qadir Al Muhairi was born in Sfax, Tunisia and died there. He was a linguist, politician, and an academic who is specialized in Arabic language and literature.

Abū az-Zibriqān ʿAbd ar-Raḥmān ibn ʿAbd al-Hādī Dāmullā al-Kāshgharī an-Nadwī, or simply Abdur Rahman Kashgari, was one of the leading scholars of the Arabic language and literature in the Indian subcontinent. Of Uyghur background, Kashgari migrated from East Turkestan to India at an early age, completing his studies in Lucknow where he became an accomplished Islamic scholar, linguist, poet and author. He then migrated to Bengal, where he eventually became the principal of Dhaka Alia Madrasa. Kashgari was also the first khatib of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, holding this role until his death.

Abd Al Latif Mahfouz Moroccan critic and intellectual, and professor of higher education at Letters and Human Sciences faculty, Benmic – Hassan II University in Casablanca. He is also the coordinator of the semiotics laboratory and analysis of literary and artistic discourses of the same faculty.

Abdel Halim Al Masoudi, he is known as Al Zoghlami, was born on July 1, 1965, in Jérissa, which is located in the Tunisian province of El Kef. He is a writer, theater critic, university professor and producer of television cultural programmes.

Nourah Al Saad is a Qatari writer and academic who was born in 1964 in Doha, Qatar.
