<i>Comedy Nights with Kapil</i> Indian TV comedy show (2013–2016)

Comedy Nights With Kapil is an Indian Hindi-language sketch comedy and celebrity talk show hosted and produced by comedian Kapil Sharma. It was on-air on Colors TV amid 22 June 2013 to 24 January 2016. Many of the episodes feature celebrity guests who usually appear to promote their latest films in a comedy-focused talk show format. On 25 September 2013, a fire broke out on the sets of the show at Film City in Goregaon causing the entire set to collapse and an estimated loss of 20 Crores. Following the fire, two episodes were shot on sets of Bigg Boss in Lonavla. In September 2013, the show became India's highest rated scripted TV show. At the CNN-IBN Indian of the Year awards, Sharma was awarded the Entertainer of the Year award for 2013.

He previously served as the Foreign Secretary from January 2015 to January 2018.

Basabi Pal, also known as Smt Basabi Pal, is an Indian academic currently serving as Head of the Department of French at Chandernagore Government College. Born in the Royal Family of Sheoraphuli she resides in the heritage town of Chandernagore with her family. Ambassador of France to India Alexandre Ziegler has conferred the insignia of Knight of the Order of Academic Palms on Basabi Pal for her "outstanding contribution" towards the promotion of French language in her three decades of service.

Sudhir Vyas is an Indian Civil servant and was the Indian ambassador to Germany. Vyas was previously ambassador to Bhutan and the United Arab Emirates. In 2013 Vyas was appointed Secretary (West) in the Ministry of External Affairs (India). A 1977 batch officer of the Indian Foreign Service Vyas retired from the Indian Foreign Service in 2015 and was appointed to the Board of Governors to The Center for Escalation of Peace.

J. Krishnaswamy, also known as Krishna "Kittu", was a former footballer who represented India as a forward at the 1956 Summer Olympics, where he scored once. He was vice-captain of the national team.
