Nallur is a panchayat town in Tenkasi district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located in a municipality under Aalangulam Panchayat Union . Its parts are Kasiyapuram, Aladipatti, Vaithilingapuram,Sivakamiyapuram, Kamarajnagar, Aravankudieruppu, Periyarnagar,Rajivkantinagar.
The primary industry is agriculture, grocery, rice mills, oil production plant, garment manufacture, tirunir manufacture, coconut copra drying, July brick, woodwork, involved in the palattarapatta. Most of the women is involved in the beedi roller work.[ citation needed ]

He came into limelight when he issued dissent note in the JPC report on the Bofors Scandal against a clean chit to Rajiv Gandhi government. He was murdered in 2004.
