Nampa Gateway Center is a lifestyle center located in Nampa, Idaho, United States. The center is owned by Gardner Company and is anchored by Crunch Fitness, DEFY Trampoline Parks, House of Design Robotics, JCPenney, Shoe Carnival, and WinCo Foods.
The shopping center opened August 3, 2007 with a JCPenney department store, marking the return of the retail chain to Nampa after a 19-year absence. The center was one of the keystones in the overall revitalization of Nampa's downtown in 2005. [1]
In January 2008, Sports Authority announced it would close its old Nampa location near Karcher Mall and construct a new 35,000 sq ft (3,300 m2) store in the shopping center. [2] In August 2008, Macy's announced it too would close its Karcher Mall store in late 2009 to move to the shopping center. [3] Sports Authority opened in September 2009 and Macy's opening in October 2009. A branch of the Idaho Athletic Club opened at the Nampa Gateway Center in 2009. [4] Nampa's second Edwards Cinemas opened in the center in November 2010. [5]
Sports Authority closed its store in January 2016. In July 2016, plans were approved for construction of a WinCo Foods, which opened in early 2017. [6] In January 2017, Macy's announced it will close later in 2017. [7] The store closed in April 2017.
The shopping center was sold by SITE Centers to RCG Ventures in late 2017. [8] It was sold again to Gardner Company in 2021. [9] In 2022, plans were announced to convert the Macy's building into the headquarters and technology center for House of Design Robotics. [10] In October 2022, Edwards Theaters was permanently closed. [11]
In February 2023, Gardner Company revealed plans to redevelop portions of the shopping center. [12] Plans call for the demolition and repurpose of the center's vacant retail space and the construction of 77 town houses and 168 apartments. [12]
The Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills, or simply Pittsburgh Mills, is a super-regional shopping center northeast of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in Frazer Township, along PA Route 28 near its intersection with the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The mall is the second largest shopping complex in Western Pennsylvania, and the main retail center for the Allegheny Valley with 905,667 sq ft (84,139 m2) of retail space on 200 acres (0.8 km2). The grand opening of the mall portion of Pittsburgh Mills was on July 14, 2005.
The Shops at Hilltop, formerly known as Hilltop Mall, was a regional shopping center in the Hilltop neighborhood of Richmond, California. Hilltop was managed and co-owned by Prologis, Inc. District 208, formerly Karcher Mall, is a shopping center located in Nampa, Idaho, United States. It originally opened as an enclosed shopping mall in August 1965 with Buttrey Food & Drug, Tempo, and Sprouse-Reitz as anchor stores. It was the largest shopping mall in the Treasure Valley until the opening of Boise Towne Square in Boise in October 1988. The shopping center is anchored by Big 5 Sporting Goods, Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts, Mor Furniture, and Ross.

Military Circle Mall, known as The Gallery at Military Circle Mall from 2002 to 2015, is a soon to be demolished abandoned enclosed shopping mall in Norfolk, Virginia. The mall opened in 1970. In October 2016 the Virginia Beach City Council rejected plans for an oceanfront arena. This vote triggered discussions for the Military Circle area to include the construction of a 20,000 seat multi purpose arena. However, rising city debt and other priorities appear to negate any near-term plans for a new arena to the area. The anchor stores are Ross Dress for Less, Optima Health, and Movement Mortgage. There are 3 vacant anchor stores that were once Cinemark, Sears, and Macy's. The mall permanently closed to the public on January 31, 2023.
Bridgepointe Shopping Center is a shopping mall in San Mateo, California, United States. Opened in 1982 as San Mateo Fashion Island, it was originally an enclosed shopping mall featuring JCPenney, Bullock's, Liberty House, and Montgomery Ward as its anchor stores. Following the closures of Bullock's and Liberty House, the mall went into decline throughout the 1990s, leading to its closure and demolition in favor of a power center.
