Nomadewuka Nancy Sihlwayi is a South African politician,who was elected to the National Assembly of South Africa in the 2019 general elections as a member of the African National Congress. [2] [3] She had previously served as the Member of the Executive Council (MEC) responsible for the Department of Social Development in the Eastern Cape provincial government. [4]
Sihlwayi served as a member of the Portfolio Committee on Human Settlements. [5] She was previously a member of the Portfolio Committee on Human Settlements,Water and Sanitation.
Tasneem Motara is a South African politician who has been the Gauteng MEC for Human Settlements since July 2024 and a member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature since May 2019. She was the MEC for Infrastructure Development and Property Management between May 2019 and October 2022 and,before her appointment to her current position,the MEC for Economic Development from October 2022 until June 2024.
