Miss South Africa 2017, the 59th edition of the Miss South Africa Pageant was held on Sunday, March 26, 2017, at the Sun City Superbowl. The license was transferred to Zee World in 2016, and later to Maggy-Dee Productions, led by Miss Grand South Africa 2015 "Lenie Pieterse" who currently owns and runs the contest since 2017.

Miss South Africa 2023 was the 65th edition of the Miss South Africa pageant, held on Sunday, 13 August 2023 at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria. Ndavi Nokeri of Limpopo crowned Natasha Joubert of Gauteng as her successor at the end of the event.
Miss Grand South Africa 2024 was the ninth edition edition of the Miss Grand South Africa pageant, held on June 1, 2024, at the Theatre of Marcellus, Emperors Palace, Johannesburg. Twenty-eight candidates from different districts of the country competed for the title. Of whom, a model from Newcastle, Sharné Dheochand, was announced the winner and will represent the country at the international parent stage, Miss Grand International 2024.
