Miss South Africa 2017, the 59th edition of the Miss South Africa Pageant was held on Sunday, March 26, 2017, at the Sun City Superbowl. Miss Grand South Africa 2024 was the ninth edition edition of the Miss Grand South Africa pageant, held on June 1, 2024, at the Theatre of Marcellus, Emperors Palace, Johannesburg. Twenty-eight candidates from different districts of the country competed for the title. Of whom, a model from Newcastle, Sharné Dheochand, was announced the winner and will represent the country at the international parent stage, Miss Grand International 2024.
