Deli Serdang is a regency in the Indonesian province of North Sumatra. It surrounds the city of Medan, and also borders to the west the city of Binjai, which is effectively a bedroom community for Medan. The entire regency lies within the Medan metropolitan area. It occupies an area of 2,502.16 km2. The capital of the district is Lubuk Pakam, which is located approximately 30 km east of Medan. The national census of 2000 recorded 1,573,987 people, but by 2010 the regency's population increased by 13.76% to 1,790,431, and at the 2020 Census the total was 1,931,441. The official estimate as at mid 2023 was 2,015,429. Kualanamu International Airport is located in this regency, 23 kilometres (14 mi) east of downtown Medan.

South Bengkulu is a regency of Bengkulu Province, Indonesia, on the island of Sumatra. It originally comprised all of that part of Bengkulu Province situated to the southeast of the city of Bengkulu, but on 25 February 2003 this area was split into three parts, with the most southeastern districts split off to form a new Kaur Regency and the most northwestern districts split off to form a new Seluma Regency. The reduced South Bengkulu Regency now covers 1,219.91 km2, and had a population of 142,940 at the 2010 Census and 166,249 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 171,463 - comprising 87,297 males and 84,166 females. The regency's administrative centre is the coastal town of Manna.
Lembata Regency is a regency in East Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia. Established on 4 October 1999 from the most easterly part of East Flores Regency, the regency covers the island of Lembata, together with three small offshore islands together forming the eastern part of the Solor Archipelago, and has its administrative seat (capital) in Lewoleba. The population of the Regency was 117,829 at the 2010 decennial census and at the 2020 census was 135,930; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 137,812.

It was created on 4 October 1999 by the division of the former Bungo Tebo Regency into a new Tebo Regency in the west and this Bungo Regency in the east. The Bungo Regency covers an area of 4,659 km2. As at the 2010 census, the regency had a population of 303,135 and 362,363 at the 2020 census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 376,382 - comprising 191,594 males and 184,788 females. East Tanjung Jabung Regency is a regency of Jambi Province, Indonesia. It is located on the island of Sumatra. The regency was created on 4 October 1999 by the division of the then Tanjung Jabung Regency into eastern and western halves. It covers an area of 2,479.36 km2, and had a population of 173,507 at the 2010 Census and 207,877 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 215,063.
