Narayan Beniwal is an Indian politician from Nagaur, Rajasthan. He was elected as a member of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from Khinwasar on 24 October 2019. He is member of Rastriya Loktantrik Party. He is brother of Rashtriya Loktantrik Party founder and Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal. [1] [2] [3]

Early life and education

Beniwal was born on 11 July 1975 to Ramdeo Beniwal and Mohini Devi in Barangaon village of Nagaur district in Rajasthan. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Rajasthan University. [4] His elder brother Hanuman Beniwal is also a politician. [5]

Personal life

He married Sumesh Beniwal in 2000, with whom he has a son. [6] [ better source needed ]

He is serving as member of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly repersenting Khinvsar constituency. He has been elected in Rajasthan Legislative Assembly for four-terms from Khinvsar constituency. He is also a former member of 17th Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament from Nagaur.

Shobha Rani Kushwaha is an Indian politician and a member of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Dholpur Assembly constituency. She was elected from Dholpur constituency in 2017 bypolls and consecutively in 2018 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elections, as a candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party. Her husband Banwari Lal Kushwaha preceded her as MLA from Dholpur constituency in 2013 Assembly elections. She was expelled from Bharatiya Janata Party after it was revealed that she had done cross voting in favour of Indian National Congress candidate in Rajya Sabha election from Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. She is considered as a close accomplice of former Rajasthan Chief Minister, Vasundhara Raje.

On 13 December 2023, two intruders named Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D, entered the Lok Sabha chamber from the public gallery. One of the individuals jumped onto the tables where the Members of Parliament (MPs) were seated and released a yellow-colored smoke canister. The other individuals named Amol Shinde and Neelam Devi chanted slogans. This caused chaos and panic within the house, leading to the immediate adjournment of the session. Outside the building, two other individuals named Vishal Sharma and Lalit Jha were arrested for doing similar activities.
