Naseem Ali Shah is a Pakistani politician and elected member of the National Assembly of Pakistan and current member of Council of Islamic Ideology. [1] [2]
Nasim Ali Shah,son of former politician Nasib Ali Shah,entered politics by joining the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party in 2018. He contested a by-election against Zahid Akram Durrani the same year. In addition to his political career,Shah is involved in social welfare,overseeing a madrassa and orphanage in Bannu. His victory in the 2024 Pakistani general election from NA-39,Bannu,with 147,087 votes marks a significant moment,being the first non-JUI candidate to win a National Assembly seat in the District since 1993. Farooq Ahmad Khan Leghari,was a Pakistani politician who served as the eighth president of Pakistan from 14 November 1993 until resigning on 2 December 1997. He was the first Baloch to be elected as President.
