Natalia Ovtchinnikova (born 1 January 1948) is a retired Soviet rhythmic gymnast. [1] She is a multiple Worlds silver medalist both in the individual event and as a group member.
Natalia was born in Grozny. She subsequently moved to Kyiv, where she now lives.
She is a multiple champion of the USSR. In 1967 she was selected for the World Championships in Copenhagen. She was 4th in the All-Around and won silver with hoop and in the exercise without apparatus. [2] [3] In 1969 she officially became part of the Soviet group and won silver with 6 balls at the World Championships in Varna. [4] [5] [6]
Galima Akhmetkareevna Shugurova is a retired rhythmic gymnast who competed for the Soviet Union. She is the 1973 World all-around champion and two-time World all-around silver medalist. She is the first all-around winner of the European Championships.
Daniela Bošanská is a Czech former rhythmic gymnast. She is a European and World medalist and three-time Czech national champion.
Ivanka Chakarova was a Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics coach and judge. She was the first national coach in the history of the Spanish national rhythmic gymnastics team, between 1974 and 1978. She is considered one of the main promoters of Bulgarian and Spanish rhythmic gymnastics.
