Bandar Lampung is the capital and largest city of the Indonesian province of Lampung. Located on the southern tip of Sumatra, Bandar Lampung was originally called Tanjungkarang–Telukbetung, since it was a unification of two major settlements in Lampung, before being renamed in 1983.
Bengkalis Regency is a regency of Indonesia in Riau Province. The regency was originally established in 1956 and then included most of the northern part of the province, but on 4 October 1999 it was divided up, with most of the territory being split off to form the new Rokan Hilir Regency, Siak Regency and the city of Dumai. On 19 December 2008 a further five districts were removed to create the new Meranti Islands Regency, leaving eight districts in the Bengkalis Regency. These eight districts has increased since 2010 to eleven by the splitting of existing districts on the Sumatran mainland.
Tabalong Regency is the most northerly of the regencies in the Indonesian province of South Kalimantan, on Borneo Island. It was created on 14 July 1965 by splitting off the former northern districts of North Hulu Sungai Regency. It has a land area of 3,553.36 km2, and had a population at the 2010 Census of 218,620 and 253,305 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as of mid-2023 was 262,631. The administrative capital is the town of Tanjung. The Regency's motto is "Saraba Kawa".
Simalungun Regency is a regency in North Sumatra Province of Indonesia. Its seat was formerly at Pematangsiantar, but this city was under Law No.15 of 10 March 1986 was separated from the Regency and made into an independent city (kota), although it remains geographically surrounded by the regency, whose new administrative seat is at Raya, while the regency's two most populous districts are Bandar and Siantar. The regency now covers an area of 4,372.5 square kilometres, and at the 2010 census it had a population of 817,720; at the 2020 Census this had risen to 990,246, of whom 497,314 were males and 492,932 were females; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 1,035,920 - comprising 521,262 males and 514,658 females.

East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency is a regency of South Sumatra Province, Indonesia. It was created on 18 December 2003 from what had formerly been the eastern districts of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. It covers an area of 3,370 km2 and had a population of 609,982 at the 2010 Census and 649,853 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 684,560. The regency seat is the town of Martapura. It borders Ogan Ilir Regency to the north, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency to the west, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency in the east and Lampung Province and South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in the south.
South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency is an inland regency in the far south of South Sumatra Province, Indonesia. It was created on 18 December 2003 from what had previously been the southernmost districts of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. It covers an area of 5,493.94 km2, and had a population of 318,428 at the 2010 Census and 408,981 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 407,676. The administrative centre is the town of Muaradua. It borders Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency and Muara Enim Regency to the north. It also borders Lampung Province to the south and east and Bengkulu Province to the west.
West Lampung Regency is a landlocked regency of Lampung Province, in the south of Sumatra, Indonesia. It was originally created on 16 August 1991 by splitting off the western districts of the existing North Lampung Regency; and until 2012 it had an area of 4,950.4 km2 of which forests occupied some 57% of the total area. It had a population of 418,560 people at the 2010 census. However, on 25 October 2012 the southwestern part of this area was separated from West Lampung Regency to form the new Pesisir Barat Regency.
South Lampung Regency is a regency of Lampung, Sumatra, Indonesia, a strip of land surrounding the provincial capital of Bandar Lampung on its northern and eastern sides. The regency is bounded to the west by the new Pesawaran Regency, to the northeast by the East Lampung Regency, and to the south by the Sunda Strait; as such it is a major transit corridor to/from Java island. It has an area of 2,109.74 km2, and a population of 909,989 at the 2010 census and 1,064,301 at the 2020 census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 1,101,376. The regency seat is the town of Kalianda.
Central Lampung Regency is a regency of the province of Lampung, on Sumatra, Indonesia. On 20 April 1999, two areas were separated from the original regency - the southeastern portion was split off to form a separate East Lampung Regency, while the town of Metro was created as an independent city. The reduced regency has an area of 4,559.57 km2 and had a population of 1,170,048 people at the 2010 census and 1,460,045 at the 2020 census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 1,508,331. The regency seat is the town of Gunung Sugih.
East Lampung Regency is a regency (kabupaten) of Lampung Province, Sumatra, Indonesia. It has an area of 5,325.03 km2 and a population of 951,639 people at the 2010 census and 1,110,340 at the 2020 census. The official estimate as at mid 2023 was 1,114,016 - comprising 566,648 males and 547,368 females. The regency seat is at the town of Sukadana.
North Lampung Regency is an inland regency (kabupaten) of Lampung Province, Sumatra, in Indonesia. As originally created, it covered a much larger share of the land area of Lampung Province, but on 16 August 1991 its western districts were split off to create a new West Lampung Regency ; on 3 January 1997 its north-eastern districts were split off to create a new Tulang Bawang Regency ; and on 20 April 1999 its north-western districts were split off to create a new Way Kanan Regency.

It was created on 29 October 2008 from what were previously the most northern districts of Tulang Bawang Regency. It has an area of 2,200.51 km2 and a population of 187,286 people at the 2010 census and 227,518 at the 2020 census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 237,935. The regency seat is the town of Mesuji.
Pesawaran Regency is a regency (kabupaten) of Lampung Province, Sumatra, Indonesia. It covers an area of 1,278.21 km2, and had a population of 398,848 at the 2010 Census and 477,468 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 485,671. The regency seat is the town of Gedong Tataan. This regency was formerly part of South Lampung Regency from which it was separated on 17 July 2007.
Pringsewu Regency is a regency of Lampung Province, Sumatra, Indonesia. It has an area of 617.20 km² and had a population of 364,825 people at the 2010 Census and 405,466 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 437,222. The regency seat is the town of Pringsewu, located 37 kilometres from the provincial capital of Bandar Lampung. The regency was created on 29 October 2008 from the former eastern part of Tanggamus Regency.
Tanggamus Regency is a regency (kabupaten) of Lampung Province, Sumatra, Indonesia. It has an area of 4,654.96 km2 which consists of a land area of 2,855.46 km2 and a sea area of 1,799.5 km2. It had a population of 534,595 at the 2010 Census and 640,275 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 662,542. The regency seat is the town of Kota Agung Pusat. The regency was created on 21 March 1997 from what were previously the western districts of South Lampung Regency, but districts in its eastern part split away on 29 October 2008 to form the new Pringsewu Regency. It lies in the southwest of the province, and surrounds Semangka Bay on its west, north and east coasts.
West Tulang Bawang Regency is a regency (kabupaten) of Lampung Province, Sumatra, Indonesia. It was created on 29 October 2008 from what were formerly the western districts of Tulang Bawang Regency. It has an area of 1,201.15 km2 and had a population of 250,707 people at the 2010 Census and 286,162 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 295,481. The regency seat is the town of Panaragan Jaya.
Way Kanan Regency is a landlocked regency (kabupaten) of Lampung Province, Sumatra, Indonesia. It was created on 20 April 1999 from what were formerly the northern and northwestern districts of North Lampung Regency. It has an area of 3,921.63 km2 and had a population of 406,123 at the 2010 census and 473,575 at the 2020 census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 489,773. The administrative centre lies at the town of Blambangan Umpu.
Pesisir Barat Regency is a regency in Lampung Province of Indonesia. It was created on 25 October 2012 from the eight western districts of West Lampung Regency. It covers an area of 2,907.23 km2, and had a population of 141,741 at the 2010 Census and 162,697 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as of mid-2023 was 174,695. The administrative center is the town of Krui. The majority group in the Pesisir Barat Regency is the Lampung people, while the Bengkulu language is also spoken in some districts.
Jati Agung District is an administrative district (kecamatan) in South Lampung Regency, part of Lampung Province on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. The district covers an area of 164.47 km2 and had a population of 128,604 at the 2020 Census, comprising 66,105 males and 62,499 females; the official estimate in mid 2023 was 125,035, comprising 63,779 males and 61,256 females. It is situated to the northeast of Bandar Lampung city, and consists of twenty-one villages, which share a postal code of 35365; many of these are suburban to Bandar Lampung. The administrative centre of the district is the town of Marga Agung.
