Natcha Thawesaengskulthai (Thai : ณัฐชา ทวีแสงสกุลไทย) is an academic, [1] author, and technology and innovation management expert who has co-founded several education models in Thailand, including the [2] [3] Chulalongkorn University Innovation Hub, [4] the Siam Innovation District, [5] CU Enterprise, and the Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation. [6] She also chairs the ASEAN University Innovation and Enterprise. [7]
She serves on the Board of Directors of Thailand’s National Innovation Agency (NIA), Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), CU Enterprise, Council of Administrative Staff of Thailand, [8] and is the Chairperson of CUE Foundation.
An academic and author, she is currently Vice President for Strategic Planning, Innovation and Global Engagement at Chulalongkorn University, [9] and she sits on three Thailand’s Committee on transforming the higher education system in Thailand, Committee to establish regulations and policy to promote joint investment in order to utilize research and innovation, and in the Organizing Committee, Secretariat of COVID-19 Center. She previously served as Vice President for Innovation and New developments at Chulalongkorn University, Vice Dean, Faculty of Engineering, and Acting Director, International School of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University.
The CU Innovation Hub has numerous enterprises, including more than 298 innovation teams [10] and startups with a total market valuation of US$ 500 million. [11] The enterprise also developed Thailand’s COVID-19 vaccine with Baiya Phytopharm, another developer of a Thai COVID-19 vaccine and the COVID-19 strip Test. [12] [13] The Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation is the first institute in Thailand to receive ISO 56002 certification. [14]

Chulalongkorn University, nicknamed Chula, is a public and autonomous research university in Bangkok, Thailand. The university was originally founded during King Chulalongkorn's reign as a school for training royal pages and civil servants in 1899 at the Grand Palace of Thailand. It was later established as a national university in 1917, making it the oldest institute of higher education in Thailand.

PTT Public Company Limited or simply PTT is a Thai state-owned SET-listed oil and gas company. The company also owns Café Amazon, a popular coffee chain throughout South East Asia, which shops are often located next to PTT gas stations or inside malls.
The Chula–Thammasat or Thammasat–Chula Traditional Football Match is a football match between Chulalongkorn University and Thammasat University. It is held annually, usually in January, at the Suphachalasai Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Apart from the match itself, the event also focuses on card stunts performed by both sides' audiences, cheerleading, and the opening ceremony parades, of which Thammasat's politics-mocking sequence is an anticipated highlight. The event is regularly broadcast on national television.
The Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University, was established in 1917. It was one of the first four faculties of the university. Its former name was "Faculty of Arts and Science". At the time of its establishment, the first two missions of the faculty were to teach the students humanities and sciences and to produce secondary school teachers. King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital is a public general and tertiary referral hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. Chamchuri Square is a high-rise building complex located in Bangkok, Thailand. It consists of a commercial office tower, a residential tower and a podium housing a shopping mall which connects the two. Owned by Chulalongkorn University, construction on the complex began in 1994 but was halted from 1996 to 2005 and later completed in 2008. With forty floors and a height of 173 metres (568 ft), the office tower is the thirty-eighth-tallest building in Thailand as of 2009.
Netiwit 'Frank' Chotiphatphaisal is a Thai student activist, librarian, preservationist, conscientious objector, publisher, and author. He is a founder of TERA and Education for Liberation of Siam. Both groups aim to reform the Thai education system. In addition, he has established Samnak Nisit Sam Yan Press for publishing thoughts and ideas in Thai language, and also Humanity Beyond Borders for giving assistance to refugees and those in needs of protection.
Takorn Tantasith is the first and current Secretary-General of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), Thailand. Being Secretary-General, he holds the highest executive position at the Office of the NBTC, having roles and responsibilities as stipulated by the Act on Organization to Assign Radio Frequency and to Regulate the Broadcasting and Telecommunications Services B.E. 2553 (2010). Takorn was appointed Secretary-General of the NBTC on 5 January 2012, for a five-year term, and in late 2016 was reappointed for a second term starting 5 January 2017. Prior to this, he was Acting Secretary-General of the NBTC, and Secretary-General of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
On 3 August 2017, Netiwit Chotiphatphaisal and seven Chulalongkorn University students and council members walked out of an initiation ceremony for first year students to pay respect to former kings Chulalongkorn and Vajiravudh in the courtyard of the university. A furious professor suddenly put one vice student council president, Supaluk Bumroongkij, in a chokehold. The incident was filmed and distributed causing a national controversy.
Chaophraya Abhaibhubejhr Hospital is the main hospital of Prachinburi Province, Thailand and is classified by the Ministry of Public Health as a regional hospital. It has a CPIRD Medical Education Center which trains doctors of the Faculty of Medicine, Burapha University. The hospital is also known for its first building which was constructed in 1909 in Baroque architecture with stucco, and currently houses the "Thai Traditional Medicine Museum".
Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit is a Thai politician who served as the leader of the Future Forward Party until the party dissolved in 2020. From 2002 to early-2018, Thanathorn was the vice president of the Thai Summit Group, Thailand's largest auto parts manufacturer.
The COVID-19 pandemic in Thailand is part of the worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. Chulalongkorn University in Thailand comprises nineteen constituent faculties, as well as six schools and colleges, which form the university's teaching units. Together, they offer 76 undergraduate and 375 postgraduate programmes, and host the university's 25,940 undergraduate and 11,424 postgraduate students. Each of the faculties is focused on a specific subject area. Supawan Tantayanon is a Thai chemist who is a professor at the Chulalongkorn University. She has previously served as President of the Science Society of Thailand, Council of Science and Technology Professionals of Thailand, and Federation of Asian Chemical Societies.
