Nate Mooney (born January 26, 1972) [1] is an American actor best known for his recurring role as Ryan McPoyle on the FX comedy series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia .
He appeared on various television series, including Breakout Kings , Grey's Anatomy , Nip/Tuck , and others. [2] He played the role of Lurvy in the film Charlotte's Web .
Mooney gained his popularity by playing the role of Ryan McPoyle, the brother of Liam McPoyle and Margaret McPoyle, on the FXX show It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Ryan is a comedic dimwit and is often rebuked for making dumb comments to his brother, such as offering to split a large sum of money (or clams) fifty-fifty-fifty to accommodate three people.
He also has a small part in one episode of Breaking Bad's third season as an arms dealer who sells bulletproof vests to the cousins attempting to murder Hank. During the buy they shoot him in the vest he is wearing to test their viability, and he survives.
He plays a lead role as Deputy Leon Drinkwater in IFC’s Stan Against Evil.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is an American sitcom created by Rob McElhenney and developed with Glenn Howerton for FX. It premiered on August 4, 2005, and was moved to FXX beginning with the ninth season in 2013. It stars Charlie Day, Howerton, McElhenney, Kaitlin Olson, and Danny DeVito. The series follows the exploits of "The Gang", a group of narcissistic and sociopathic friends who run the Irish dive bar Paddy's Pub in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but spend most of their free time drinking, scheming, arguing amongst themselves, and plotting elaborate cons against others, and at times each other, for personal benefit, financial gain, revenge, or simply out of boredom.
Charles Peckham Day is an American actor, comedian, writer, producer, director, and podcaster. He is best known for playing Charlie Kelly on the FX comedy It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005–present), which he co-created with Rob McElhenney and Glenn Howerton, and on which he is also executive producer and writer. In 2011, he was nominated for a Critics' Choice Television Award and a Satellite Award for the role. He subsequently co-created The Cool Kids (2018–2019) on Fox with Paul Fruchbom in 2018 and Mythic Quest (2020–present) on Apple TV+ with Rob McElhenney and Megan Ganz in 2020, and continues to executive-produce the latter.
Robert McElhenney III is an American actor, comedian, producer, writer, podcaster, and sports executive. He is best known for his role as Ronald "Mac" McDonald on the FX/FXX comedy series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005–present), a show he co-created with Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton and on which he continues to serve as an executive producer and writer. He is also known for playing Ian Grimm on the Apple TV+ comedy series Mythic Quest (2020–present), which he co-created with Day and Megan Ganz as executive producers.
Glenn Franklin Howerton III is an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, producer and podcaster. He is best known for playing Dennis Reynolds on the long-running sitcom It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005–present) on FX/FXX, a series he co-created with Charlie Day and Rob McElhenney, and on which he serves as an executive producer and writer. Since November 2021, he has co-hosted The Always Sunny Podcast, with his fellow co-creators McElhenney and Day.

Dennis Reynolds is a fictional character on the FX series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005–present), portrayed by Glenn Howerton, and created by Rob McElhenney, Howerton, and Charlie Day. He is the co-owner of Paddy's Pub, alongside his childhood friends Charlie Kelly and Mac. He is the twin brother of Dee Reynolds, legal son to Frank Reynolds, and is also roommates with Mac. He often plays the lead role in many of the gang's schemes.
