Nathalie Bizet (born 2 October 1966 in Beauvais) is a French Para-Equestrian Dressage rider. She won a bronze medal.
In 1982, at the age of 16, she began riding as an internship. Thereafter, she joined a club and began to ride regularly.
In 1988, she bought her first horse. Three years later, in 1991, she competed on the international circuit, and won a silver medal in compulsory test, at the World Championship.
At the 1996 Paralympic Games in Atlanta, she won a dressage team bronze medal. [1] She competed in Mixed Dressage Grade IV finishing seventh, [2] and in Mixed Kur Canter Grade IV finishing ninth. [3] The medal allowed her in 1997, to join the Athletes SNCF system as an administrative agent at Paris Rive Gauche. [4]
At the 2000 Paralympic Games, she competed in Mixed Dressage - Championship Grade IV, [5] and Mixed Dressage - Freestyle Grade IV. [6]
At the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens, she competed in Mixed Dressage - Championship Grade IV, [7] and Mixed Dressage - Freestyle Grade IV. [8]
At the 2008 Paralympic Games, she competed in Mixed Dressage - Freestyle Grade IV, [9] and Mixed Dressage - Championship Grade IV. [10]
At the 2012 Paralympic Games, she competed in Dressage - Freestyle Grade IV, [11] Dressage - Championship Grade IV, [12] and Dressage - Team. [13]
In 2002, she finished eighth in the European championship, sixth and eighth respectively in compulsory dressage and free dressage.
In 2005, she finished third in the European championship. [1]
She also holds 26 French championship titles.
Nathalie has won more than 500 prizes, including around 80 victories among able-bodied riders.
Equestrian events at the 2008 Summer Paralympics consisted of eleven dressage events. The competitions were held in the Hong Kong Olympic Equestrian Centre from 7 September to 11 September.

Georgia Bruce is an expert in equine behavior and psychology. She specializes in the positive reinforcement based training method known as "Clicker Training". Georgia has written two books about clicker training horses and has also produced an Online Training Course on equine clicker training. Bruce gives lessons, clinics, trick shows and clicker training demonstrations around Australia. Her broad repertoire of horse training skills includes training trick horses, liberty horses, wild horses, starting young horses and retraining horses with problem behaviours. Bruce also has extensive experience training horses for high level performance in both dressage and reining.
Para-equestrian is an equestrian sport governed by the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI), and includes two competitive events. One is para-equestrian dressage, which is conducted under the same basic rules as conventional dressage, but with riders divided into different competition grades based on their functional abilities. The other is para-equestrian driving, which operates under the same basic rules as combined driving but places competitors in various grades based on their functional abilities.
