The National Agricultural Research Institute (NARI) is an agency within the Ministry of Agriculture of Eritrea. The institute was used to be known as the Department of Agricultural Research and Human Resources Development (DARHARD).

Researchers at the Overseas Development Institute have identified the health and education as a high priority, both within the government and amongst Eritreans at home and abroad. Innovative multi-sectoral approaches to health were also identified with the success.

Nimbkar Agricultural Research Institute (NARI) is a non-governmental organisation and non-profit research and development institute in Tambmal, Phaltan, Maharashtra, India. The institute undertakes research and development in the fields of agriculture, renewable energy, animal husbandry and sustainable development. The institute was founded in 1968 by Shri B. V. Nimbkar, who remained its president until 1990. Dr.Anil K. Rajvanshi is currently the director of the institute whereas Dr. Nandini Nimbkar is the president.

There is much research going on in Sri Lanka. Most is done through universities, government organizations, semi governmental organizations and non-governmental organizations. The research is funded by both Sri Lankan and foreign entities.

Kerevat Town in East New Britain Province, Papua New Guinea

Kerevat is a town and seat of Gazelle District in East New Britain Province, on the island of New Britain, Papua New Guinea. It is home to a prison, the Kerevat National High School, the Kerevat Education Centre, and the Cocoa and Coconut Research Institute. Its principal crop is cocoa. An airfield was constructed here by the Imperial Japanese in World War II during September 1943.

9 Mile, Lae Village in Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea

9 Mile is a large village in the Markham Valley of Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea. It lies along the Highlands Highway 9 miles (14 km) from the center of Lae between the foothills of the Atzera Range and the Markham River. The Atzera Range starts at Bugandi and runs adjacent to the Markham River has an elevation of 280 meters above sea level. northwest of Lae, 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) southeast of Nadzab. The landscape is typically lowland rainforest.

Bonbehari Vishnu Nimbkar is an Indian agricultural scientist and social worker, known for his pioneering work in the fields of animal husbandry and agriculture. He is the founder of Nimbkar Agricultural Research Institute, a Phaltan-based non governmental organization engaged in research and development in animal husbandry and agriculture. The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri, in 2006, for his contributions to Indian agricultural sector. In November 2016 he was given the Jamnalal Bajaj Award for application of science and technology for rural applications.

The Ministry of Agriculture is a ministry of Bangladesh. The ministry is the apex body for formulation and administration of the rules, regulations and laws related to Agriculture in Bangladesh.

Dr. Atmaram was an Indian scientist. In his memory, the Atmaram Award is given by the Central Institute of Hindi, an autonomous institute run by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India. He was the Director of Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute and assumed the post of Director General of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research on 21 August 1966. He was also Principal Advisor to Prime Minister and Union Cabinet on Science and Technology from 1977 to 1983.
