Cayo District is a district located in the west part of Belize. It is the most extensive, second-most populous and third-most densely populated of the six districts of Belize. The district's capital is the town of San Ignacio.
St. George's Caye is an island in the Caribbean Sea, eight miles east of Belize City. It is part of the Belize District of Belize, Central America. The village on the island is also known as St. George's Caye. As of 2000, St. George's Caye had a permanent population of about 20 people.
St. Herman's Blue Hole National Park is a national park located just off the Hummingbird Highway in Cayo District of Belize, near Belmopan, the capital city. It is over 500 acres (2 km²) in area, and contains two cave systems, various natural trails, and the cool jungle pool from which the park gets its name. The park is managed by the Belize Audubon Society.

Indian Church is a small remote village in the Orange Walk District of Belize. It is located on the west bank of New River, neighbouring the town of San Carlos to its south, and the Maya ruins of Lamanai to its north. According to the 2010 census, Indian Church has a population of 267 people in 66 households. The village is named for the historic Spanish churches recovered among the ancient Maya ruins. The residents lived among the ruins until 1991 when the Government of Belize established the 2-square-mile (5.2 km2) Lamanai Archaeological Reserve maintained by Belize's Institute of Archaeology.

The National Heritage Library (NHL) is a library in Belmopan, Belize. Located on Mountain View Boulevard, adjacent to the Museum of Archeology. It contains an extensive non-circulating collection of materials about Belize and Belizeans with some 20,000 materials in the collection. It also has much archive material including housing development plans, maps, private industry annual reports, and past and current national and local newspapers including the Amandala, Belize Reporter and the Belize Billboard. It also has a collection of digitized books and over 1500 videos of local news broadcasts and documentaries.
The Bliss Institute is a theatre, museum, and National Arts Council in the cultural centre of Belize City. It is named after Baron Bliss.
Community Baboon Sanctuary is a protected area in Belize. It was established in 1985 to help address the threats of agriculture, logging and hunting of the black howler monkey ('baboon') and to educate locals and visitors about the importance of biodiversity, sustainability, and to promote the economic development of the Bermudian Landing community.
The Mayflower Bocawina National Park is a national park in Belize that was established in 2001. This national park boasts a vast quantity of flora and fauna. The Mayflower Bocawina National Park is managed by the Friends of Mayflower Bocawina National Park and is listed as Category 2 on the IUCN list.

The Principality of Islandia is an incipient micronation that claims Coffee Caye in the Caribbean Sea off the coast of Belize as its territory. Coffee Caye is a currently uninhabited island of 1.2 acres (0.5 ha) separated by a short boat trip from Belize City. Founded in 2018 by Gareth Johnson and Marshall Mayer, the project is the first attempt to create a micronation to be crowdfunded. At present the island, which is covered in mangroves and surrounded by coral reefs, can be rented for camping excursions.
