National Lawyers’ Congress (NLC) was formed as a front organisation of DIC(K). Its first State convention was held in Cochin on 28 May 2005.
NLC organized special reception for the Nava Kerala Yatra under the leadership of the DIC(K) president Sri. K. Muraleedharan on 20 December 2005 at Jos Junction and garlanded the President with currency worth Rs. 41500/- as a special contribution for the DIC(K) building fund for Priyadarsini Bhavan.
The function was attended by a large number of lawyers from Kerala High Court, Ernakulam District Court, North Paravur Additional District Court and the courts in Aluva, Perumbavoor, Kochi, Muvattupuzha, Kolencheri and Kothamangalam along with lawyers' groups in Family Court, MACT, Tax, CBI, CAT, Consumer, Ombudsman, Human Rights etc.
The High Court of Kerala is the highest court in the Indian state of Kerala and in the Union Territory of Lakshadweep. It is located in Kochi. Drawing its powers under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the High Court has the power to issue directions, orders and writs including the writs of habeas corpus, mandamus, prohibition, quo warranto and certiorari for ensuring the enforcement of the Fundamental Rights guaranteed by the Constitution to citizens or for other specified purposes. The High Court is empowered with original, appellate and revisional jurisdiction in civil as well as criminal matters, and the power to answer references to it under some statutes. The High Court has the superintendence and visitorial jurisdiction over all courts and tribunals of inferior jurisdiction covered under its territorial jurisdiction.
North Paravur, formerly known as Parur, is a municipality in Ernakulam district in the Indian state of Kerala. It is a northern suburb of the city of Kochi and is situated around 20 km from the city centre.
Aluva is a municipality in the district of Ernakulam in Kerala, India. Situated around 15 km (9.3 mi) from the city center on the banks of river Periyar, Aluva is one of the major industrial centres of the state. Kannoth Karunakaran was an Indian politician and member of the Indian National Congress party. He served as the Chief Minister of Kerala four times: for a brief period from March 1977 to April 1977, another short term from December 1981 to March 1982, followed by a brief period of president's rule from March 1982 to May 1982, from May 1982 to May 1987, and from June 1992 to May 1995. He was admired by all political parties for his determination and political skills. He was instrumental in several massive infrastructure projects in Kerala which includes the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (Kochi) and the Cochin International Airport. These were sanctioned during his last stint as Chief Minister of Kerala from 1992 to 1995. In his honour, a pavilion in the Cochin stadium is named after him.
Arackaparambil Kurien Antony, better known as A. K. Antony is an Indian politician and attorney who currently serves as Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, representing the state of Kerala for the fifth consecutive term since 1985. He also currently serves as the Chairman of the Disciplinary Action Committee of the All India Congress Committee, Congress Working Committee, and member of the Central Election Committee.

Oommen Chandy is an Indian statesman and senior leader of the Indian National Congress party. He served as the Chief Minister of Kerala for two terms, from 2004 to 2006 and again from 2011 to 2016. He was also Leader of the Opposition in the Kerala Legislative Assembly from 2006 to 2011. He has represented Puthuppally as MLA in the State Assembly since 1970. On 6 June 2018 Congress President Rahul Gandhi appointed him as General Secretary of All India Congress Committee in charge of the crucial state of Andhra Pradesh. He is now the Congress Working Committee member.
Karingozhakkal Mani Mani was a veteran Indian politician and the chairman of Kerala Congress (M), one of the main factions of Kerala Congress, a party born in the Travancore or Central South Kerala region who focused on the interest of Kerala state's Christian farmers. He holds the records of having presented the maximum number of budgets (thirteen) in the Kerala Legislative Assembly as Finance Minister and also as the longest-serving member of Kerala Assembly. He holds the distinction of having been the longest-serving minister in the Government of Kerala to date and for having continuously represented Pala legislative constituency since its inception in 1964 until his death in 2019.
Kerala Congress (Jacob) is a registered regional political party in the Indian state of Kerala. It is a faction of Kerala Congress founded by the former minister the late T. M. Jacob who has held portfolios like Education, Irrigation, Culture and Civil Supplies in the Kerala Legislative Assembly. Since Jacob's death in 2011, the party has been led by Johnny Nellore, a former MLA.
Ramesh Chennithala is an Indian politician, affiliated to the Indian National Congress, and the Leader of the Opposition in the Kerala Legislative Assembly since 2016. He has served as the state Home Minister in the Government of Kerala. He holds the record of being the youngest Minister in the State of Kerala at the age of 29.

He got married on 3 July 1963 to Smt.Sathi Devi and they had one daughter. His Educational Qualifications is B.Sc. from M.G. College, Thiruvananthapuram.
Kannoth Muraleedharan is an Indian National Congress politician from Kerala, the son of eminent congress leader K. Karunakaran. He was elected as member of the Lok Sabha thrice from the Kozhikode constituency, subsequently leaving the party in 2005.He was elected as the Chairman of KPCC Campaign committee on 19 September 2018. In 2019 Indian general election, he won from the Vatakara.
The Government Law College, Kozhikode or Kozhikode Law College situated on the outskirts of Kozhikode, India, is owned by the Government of Kerala and affiliated to the University of Calicut. Keezhoote Raman Pillai Balakrishnan Pillai, is an Indian politician and a former minister of the state of Kerala in India, holding portfolios such as Transport and Electricity. He was member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly from Kottarakara constituency in Kollam district for decades. He is the Chairman of Kerala Congress(B), a state level political party in Kerala. Throughout his political career, Pillai remained a controversial figure in Kerala state politics.

He is a member of the sixteenth Lok Sabha representing Mavelikara Constituency in Kerala. This is the sixth time he is being elected to the Lok Sabha. K. Sivadasan Nair is a member of 13th Kerala Legislative Assembly. He belongs to Indian National Congress party and represents Aranmula constituency. He was previously elected to Kerala Legislative Assembly in 2006.
Changanassery Parameswaran Pillai popularly Changanassery, was a social reformer, lawyer, judge, attorney general and the former president of the Nair Service Society. He was elected four times to the Sree Moolam Popular Assembly.
