National Photography Awards are given to photographers in India. These awards are given in 3 different categories, namely - Lifetime Achievement Award, Professional Photographer of the Year andAmateur Photographer of the Year. It may also include 5 Special Mention Awards in both Professional and Amateur categories.

Award ceremony is organized by Photo Division of Ministry of information and Broadcasting.

Perkins currently works at The Washington Post, where he has worked for the past 30 years and resides in Washington, D.C.

New Zealand Geographic is a bi-monthly magazine founded in 1989 and published by Kōwhai Media of Auckland, New Zealand. In the format popularised by National Geographic, it focuses on the biodiversity, geography, and culture of New Zealand, Antarctica, and nearby Pacific Islands. The magazine showcases documentary and editorial photography, and each year runs a national Photographer of the Year competition.

Hasselblad Masters Award is an bi-annual award granted by the camera company Hasselblad to selected photographers each year across various specialties in recognition of exceptional accomplishment through photography. While its sister prize, the Hasselblad Award, is managed by the Hasselblad Foundation, the Hasselblad Masters Award and its book publishing and touring exhibition projects are overseen directly by the company's senior executive committee.

Travel Photographer of the Year (TPOTY) is an international travel photography award, founded by professional photographer Chris Coe and his partner Karen Coe in 2003. The competition runs annually and is open to entries from photographers of all ages and abilities. Each year an overall winner is presented with the 'Travel Photographer of The Year' award, with additional winners selected from each of the year's categories. The competition is judged by an international panel of expert photographers and editors, assessing as many as 20,000 entries from over 142 different countries each year.

Rogelio Bernal Andreo is a Spanish-American astrophotographer. He is known for his photographs of deep sky objects. His work has been recognized by NASA as a regular contributor to their Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) 80 times. Andreo's photography has been published in international magazines and periodicals, as well as television networks including the BBC, National Geographic, and the Discovery Channel series Into the Universe with Stephen Hawking.

Food Photographer of the Year is a set of awards presented by The Food Awards Company and title sponsor Pink Lady Apples, given to amateur and professional photographers for excellence in food photography. The Award supports Action Against Hunger, a humanitarian aid organisation specialising in saving the lives of malnourished children in the world’s poorest countries, and has also supported the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.

The Lucie Awards is an annual event honoring achievements in photography, founded in 2003 by Hossein Farmani.

The International Photography Awards are a group of awards for professional, non-professional and student photographers on a global scale which are awarded annually at the Lucie Awards gala. The winners of the main categories are invited to attend the gala to compete for the main award of International Photographer of the Year, receiving a Lucie statue and a cash prize of $10,000.

Will Burrard-Lucas, is a British wildlife photographer and entrepreneur. He is known for developing devices, such as BeetleCam and camera traps, which enable him to capture close-up photographs of wildlife.

The Siena International Photo Awards (SIPAContest) is a photography competition for professional, amateur and student photographers from around the world. It is judged by an international panel of experts that includes renowned photographers, editors and photography collectors. First presented in 2015, by their second year the awards and the associated Siena Awards Festival in Siena, Italy, were considered prestigious.

Dimpy Bhalotia is an Indian street photographer based out of London and Mumbai. She was one of the winners of the British Journal of Photography's Female in Focus Award in 2020.
