Triyuga is one of eight municipalities of Udayapur district of the Province No. 1 of Nepal. Gaighat is the headquarter of the municipality. According to the 1991 Nepal census, it had a population of 55,291. According to the 2011 Nepal census, Triyuga had 87,557 inhabitants. It is divided into 16 wards. Triyuga Municipality was established on B.S. Chaitra 13, 2053. It was named after Triyuga River. A river which flows through the town. Triyuga is the 3rd largest municipality in Nepal and 1st largest in Province No. 1 in term of size (area). The total area of the municipality is 547.43 square kilometres (211.36 sq mi)
Besishahar is a municipality and the district headquarters of Lamjung District in Gandaki Province, Nepal. The Besishahar Municipality was formed by merging the existing Village Development Committees i.e. Besishahar, Gaunshahar, Udipur, Chandisthan, Baglungpani, Bajhakhet, Hiletaksar and Chiti and have 11 wards. Here are different castes and religions. So they have different culture. This municipality has a sub-tropical climate with deciduous forests. Annapurna II, Machhapuchhre, Lamjung Himal can be viewed from north of Besishahar Municipality.
Siraha is the headquarters and municipality of Siraha District, a part of Province No. 2, Nepal. Siraha had a population of 28,442 according to the census of 2011. and a population of 82,531 as of 2015. The mayor ois Asheswor Yadava and the deputy mayor is Dr. Namita Yadav. Both assumed office on 25 September 2017. The town is at 80 metres (260 ft) altitude, 29 kilometres (18 mi) ESE of Janakpur.
Sandhikharka Municipality is the headquarter of Arghakhanchi District which lies in Lumbini Province of Nepal. The former village development committee (VDC) was converted into a municipality on 18 May 2014 by merging the existing Sandhikharka, Wangla, Narapani, Khanchikot, Kimadada, Argha and Dibharna VDCs evdo. It is located, in a valley surrounded by hills, in the western part of the capital, Kathmandu.

Koteshwor is a place, located in Kathmandu District. In 1991, Kathmandu Metropolitan City was expanded by incorporating Koteshwor as Ward No. 32. It encompasses 395 hectares and is bounded by the Manohara river in the east and south, the Bagmati river in the west, and share borders with Gothatar in the north, Madhyapur Thimi municipality of Bhaktapur District in east and Lalitpur metropolitan city in the south. With respect to basic services, almost all homes in the ward have access to electricity, but the same cannot be said about drinking water. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 5,787 living in 1,154 households. The ward contains 8,716 households. The population in 2001 was 35,184.
Hariwan Municipality is one of the new municipalities declared by the Government of Nepal on May 18, 2014. It is located in Sarlahi District Janakpur zone, Nepal. It is formed by the joining of four contemporary Village development committees (VDCs) namely Atrouli, Sasapur, Ghurkauli and Harion VDCs covering an area of 88.1 km2. It has been divided into 11 wards with an administration center in Harion Bazar. According to Nepal Population Census 2011, the municipality has a total population of 42,783.
Mirchaiya formerly known as Ramnagar Mirchaiya is a municipality in Siraha District in the province 2 of south-eastern Nepal. The municipality was established on 18 May 2014 by merging the existing Rampur Birta, Malhaniyakhori, Radhopur, Ramnagar Mirchaiya, Phulbariya, Sitapur PraDa and Maheshpur Gamharia Village Development Committees. At the time of the 2017 municipality records, it had a population of approx. 52,000 people living in approx 8,496 individual households. This is one of the main business markets for Katari and the southern part of the Siraha district. Raw material produced here includes padday, miazem, and sugar cane. Frequently used Language of Mirchaiya is Maithali. However, People of this locality is well educated they can speak English, Nepali, Hindi and some other local language according to their ethnicity. The famous festival of Mirchaiya is Durgapuja, Jhanda Mela, Holi, Chhat puja, Shreepanchami, Dipawali. The mode of transportation mostly used include: bus, car, bike, bicycle, rickshaw, tempo, and mini bus.
Beldandi is a rural municipality in Kanchanpur District in Sudurpashchim Province of southwestern Nepal named after the former Village Development Committee. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census the VDC had a population of 9301 people living in 1483 individual households. According to the Nepal census 2011 the municipality had 3022 individual households and a population of 21,959. In the north and west, Beldandi is surrounded by Suklaphatha national park. To the east lies Belauri Municipality. On the south, it borders India.

Katahariya is a municipality in Rautahat District in the Narayani Zone of south-eastern Nepal. Before September 2017, Katahariya was one of the Village Development Committees with 8 wards. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census, it had a population of 4,619 people living in 835 individual households. Katahariya is famous for its vegetables and cattle market. It has a well-maintained Farmers' market (vegetable) and Cattle (domestic-animal) market. Katahariya is a fast-growing VDC, with the main occupations of local people being business and farming.

Amarapuri is a town in Gaidakot Municipality in Nawalparasi District in the Lumbini Zone of southern Nepal. It became a municipality in May 2014 by merging the existing Mukundapur, Amarapuri, Gaidakot, Nawalparasi, VDCs. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 5,451 living in 967 households. Amarapuri has three high schools, the Shree Laxmi Higher Secondary School, Amar Jyoti Higher Secondary School and Amar English Higher Secondary Boarding School.
Kawasoti (Nepali: कावासोती) is a municipality in Nawalpur District, Gandaki Province, Nepal. It is 31 km (19 mi) west of Bharatpur and 85 km (53 mi) east of Butwal, approximately on the middle of Mahendra Highway. The Naryani River flows south of it, and the Mahabharat Range is north of it.
Arunkhola is a bustling town situated on the bank of the river Arun before as Naya Belhani VDC Ward No. 8 of Nawalparasi, but now as Madhyabindu Municipality, ward no. 10, Nawalpur District of Western Nepal. It is also known as Aarungkhola, Aarunkhola(Nepali: आरुणखोला) and Bhagra. It is an emerging business hub of the district.
Previously Ugarachandi Nala was a village development committee located in Kavrepalanchok District of Nepal. It is named after the temple of goddess Ugrachandi Bhagawati located in Nala Bazaar. But now in the year 2017 AD it has been changed and divided into ward no. 3 and 4 of Banepa municipality. According to the 1991 Nepal census, the population of the VDC is 6,327 in 1,035 individual households.
Bardaghat [नेपाली: बर्दघाट] is a Municipality in Parasi District in Lumbini Province, Nepal. It is situated in the lap of Chure range. This municipality was established on 18 May 2014 by merging existing Makar and Panchanagar VDCs. Again during the local election, the neighbouring VDC Dawanne devi and some part of Dhurkot, Jamuniya, Rupauliya were merged in it. It has a population of 55,382 with the area of 162.05 km2. It is an emerging town of Parasi District that is developing rapidly.
Gaindakot is a municipality in Nawalpur District in the Lumbini Zone of southern Nepal. It became a municipality in May 2014 by merging the existing Mukundapur, Amarapuri, and Gaindakot VDCs. It was again expanded by merging Ratanpur VDC. It is situated on the shore of Narayani River in the lap of Maula Kalika temple. So this place has a great possibility of tourism development. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census, it had a population of 58,841 and 13,623 individual households according to 2011 Nepal census.
