Nayiga Florence Ssekabira is a Ugandan female politician, former State Minister for PWDs and Women Member of Parliament of Kayunga district in the eighth parliament on National Resistance Movement (NRM) political party ticket. [1] [2] [3]

Political career

Florence Nayiga Sekabira was the Honourable Minister of State for Elderly and Disability Affairs from 2001 to 2006, [4] [5] She won (was elected) National Woman Disability Member of Parliament after defeating Sophia Nalule, her competitor. [6] [7] Florence Nayiga Sekabira represented women of Kayunga in the eighth parliament but lost her seat to Hon. Nantaba Aidah Erios in the ninth parliament. [8] [2]

She won the 2021 general elections for her position as the representative of people with disabilities for Eastern region. Hellen is affiliated to the National Resistance Movement political party.

Mary Paula Kebirungi Turyahikayo also known as Turyahikayo Kebirungi Mary Paula is a Ugandan politician and Social Scientist. She is the woman Member of Parliament representative for Rubabo County, Rukungiri District under the National Resistance Movement political party ticket. She was the aspirant for 2021-2026 Mp for Rubabo county but lost the election with only 20,287 votes.

Amos Lugoloobi is a Ugandan politician. He is currently the state minister for finance and planning and the representative member for Ntenjeru north, Kayunga District in the Ugandan 11th Parliament.

Sarah Mateke Nyirabashitsi is a Ugandan politician and educationist who is the woman representative for Kisoro District, and Minister of State for Gender, Labour and Social Development appointed in 2021 by the President Yoweri Museveni in the Ugandan 11th Parliament.
