History

Naymz was founded by Nolan Bayliss, Tony Czupryna, and Tom Drugan in January 2006. [2] The three founders previously worked at and met at the online travel company Orbitz in Chicago. [3] Naymz launched to the public in June, 2006. [4]

Importance

Naymz was one of the first Web 2.0 sites[ vague ] to provide utilities for Online Reputation Management (ORM) services. Other sites providing similar services include ClaimID, ReputationDefender, and LinkedIn.[ citation needed ]

In September 2007, Naymz added social networking to its platform and a proprietary Reputation Scoring system called RepScore. [5] [6]

Naymz has appeared in print and digital news articles in leading media outlets, including USA Today, [4] ABC News, [7] NPR, [8] Wall St. Journal, [9] and Washington Post. [10] [11]

He is co-founder and CEO at Collective, the first online back-office platform designed for freelancers, consultants and other businesses-of-one. He is currently a Venture Partner at Expa, a San Francisco-based start-up venture firm and studio where he was a founding partner. Previously, he was co-founder and CEO of AddThis. AddThis provided the most widely used marketing tools for web site creators. According to web measurement firm ComScore, in 2015 the platform was ranked #1 in AdFocus, reaching over 97% of users in the United States ahead of Google, Yahoo and Facebook. According to TechCrunch, AddThis was purchased by Oracle in 2016 for around $200 million.
