Judwaa (transl. Twins) is a 1997 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film, directed by David Dhawan, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and starring Salman Khan, Karishma Kapoor and Rambha with Kader Khan, Dalip Tahil, Shakti Kapoor, Deepak Shirke, Anupam Kher, Satish Shah and Mukesh Rishi in supporting roles. The film was a box-office success. It is a remake of the Telugu film Hello Brother (1994), which in turn is inspired from the Hong Kong action comedy film Twin Dragons (1992) starring Jackie Chan.
Race is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language neo-noir action crime film directed by Abbas–Mustan and written by Kiran Kotrial and Shiraz Ahmed. He is best known for his work in Baazigar (1993), Raja (1995), Hum hai rahi pyar ke (1993) and Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988), Pyaar Ki Miss Call (2009) along with actor Gaurav Prateek. In the UK, he appeared in the BBC soap opera EastEnders as Dan Ferreira, the head of the Ferreira family, from June to December 2003.

The film began production in 1990 and was delayed for 10 years because of director Mazhar Khan's ill health. After his death in 1998, his assistant director helped complete the film for release on 14 April 2000. The film was also the last to feature music by RD Burman, who died in 1994.

In an interview with Lehren Network, Khanna said that the film did not follow a conventional script while Kumar stated that the film had more romance than action.

Sabse Bada Khiladi is a 1995 Indian action thriller film directed by Umesh Mehra and starring Akshay Kumar, Mamta Kulkarni, Mohnish Behl, Gulshan Grover and Sadashiv Amrapurkar. It was the third installment in the Khiladi film series of films that had Akshay in the lead after Khiladi and Main Khiladi Tu Anari and was the first Khiladi film to be directed by Mehra and produced by Keshu Ramsay who went on to collaborate for Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi and International Khiladi and Khiladi 420. The film was a commercial success at the box office and was the sixth highest-grossing Indian film of 1995.

Dutt's favourite writer Aghajani Kashmiri scripted Yeh Rastey.. which is based on the sensational K.M. Nanavati adultery and murder case in Mumbai. The film was said to be a thinly-disguised version of the famous Nanavati case where an upright naval captain, Capt. Nanavati, shot dead the lover of his wife. The film was said to be ahead of its times and too bold, doing only moderately well.
