Near FM (North East Access Radio) 90.3 FM is a BAI-licensed community media project operated by the not-for-profitmedia co-operative, Near Media Co-operative Society Limited.
Membership in the co-operative is open to all organisations and individuals in Dublin North-East, Ireland.
The station provides a wide range of specialist music programmes (blues, punk, ska etc.) as well as a variety of talk programming.
Previously known as Near FM 101.6, the station first went on air in August 1995. On Tuesday 23 January 2007, the station switched to a new frequency of 90.3MHz and was renamed Near90fm. In 2012, the station reverted to using its former Near FM name.
Near Media Co-op also runs other community television projects – Near TV Productions, NearCast and Near Drama as well as other projects including Near Records and Near Choice.
Near FM is a founding member of CRAOL, The Community Radio Forum of Ireland.
In the 1980s there was a pirate radio station which NEAR FM is based on called North Dublin Community Radio, which broadcast on 100MHz FM, and 1008kHz AM. It closed down in 1988, in order that the legal co-op could apply for a community radio licence.

It is a legally registered co-operative and is branded as Co-op Radio. The station broadcasts on 100.5 MHz FM and have studios and offices on Columbia Street off Hastings Street. in Vancouver's Downtown East Side, while its transmitter is located atop Mount Seymour. CFRO is a member of the National Campus and Community Radio Association.

CRAOL, also called the Community Radio Forum of Ireland, or Community Radio Ireland, is the representative, co-ordinating, lobbying, training and support group for Irish Community Radio. Every week, across Ireland, 2000 community radio volunteers broadcasts to 170,000 people in 20 fully licensed stations and 42 aspirant stations. The organisation runs a helpline to assist in the development of community radio. CRAOL is a registered provider of FETAC Accredited training.
West Limerick 102 is a community radio station broadcasting to the western parts of County Limerick in Ireland. The station operates on a non-commercial basis and has a five year licence issued by the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland. The station went on air in May, 2005 and was officially opened by then Taoiseach Bertie Ahern in April 2006.

Radio NOVA is a radio station licensed by the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, based in Dublin, Ireland. It was awarded its broadcasting licence by the BAI in September 2008 and launched on 1 September 2010. It is the only Dublin radio station licensed to transmit to the extensive Dublin commuter belt, including Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare, Louth, and Meath. NOVA is available throughout County Louth, in south Armagh, south Down, east Tyrone and north Armagh although in some of these areas reception is patchy. NOVA broadcasts on 100.3 FM from Three Rock Mountain Dublin, 100.5 from Saggart Hill, County Dublin, to serve County Kildare and 95.7 FM from Bray Head in North Wicklow, to cover County Wicklow. The station covers County Meath from its main Dublin transmitter (100.3 MHz).Radio NOVA 100fm in County Offaly operates (100.3 MHz) to 100.5.

92.5 Phoenix FM is a community radio station that is licensed to broadcast in Dublin 15, Ireland. The "Dublin 15 Community Broadcasting Cooperative Society" was established in 1989. Phoenix FM received a licence to broadcast in 1999 from the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland and began broadcasting in 2000 from Blanchardstown Shopping Centre.
