Ramgopal Rao has more than 480 publications in various journals, and over 50 patents in the areas of Electron devices and Nanoelectronics. Ramgopal Rao was the first elected chairman for the Indian Section of the American Nano Society. He is also the recipient of multiple prizes including the Swarnajayanti Fellowship, Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize, Infosys Prize, Techno-Visionary award from the Indian Semiconductor Association in 2020, the IBM faculty award in 2007 and the IEEE EDS Education award in 2020 besides many others. He is a Fellow of IEEE, Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), Indian Academy of Sciences (IASc), National Academy of Sciences (NASI) and the Indian National Science Academy (INSA).

She previously worked at the Engineering Mechanics Unit of the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research from 1998 to 2012 and as a professor at the TIFR Hyderabad Centre for Interdisciplinary Sciences from 2012 to 2016. As of 2019 she is working as a professor at International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS), Bengaluru. Govindarajan is a recipient of the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award for the year 2007.
Rohini Godbole is an Indian physicist and academic specializing in elementary particle physics: field theory and phenomenology. She is currently a professor at the Centre for High Energy Physics, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. She has worked extensively on different aspects of particle phenomenology over the past three decades, in particular on exploring different aspects of the Standard Model of Particle Physics (SM) and the physics beyond it (BSM). Her work regarding hadronic structure of high-energy photons outlined a variety of ways in which to study it and has had implications for the design of next generation electron positron colliders. She is an elected fellow of all the three academies of Science of India and also the Science Academy of the Developing World (TWAS).

Jayashree Ramadas is an Indian educationist. She was the Centre Director (2011–2016) of Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), a National Centre of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) in Mumbai, India. In her capacity as a professor she teaches graduate courses related to cognition and science education. She is also a member of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics and International Committee on Physics Education. Ramadas was appointed Dean, HBCSE, in November, 2008, and in June 2011, was appointed the Centre Director. She is currently Professor at the TIFR Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies, Hyderabad.

Dutta secured his M Sc degree in applied geology in 2001 from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, M Tech degree in geoexploration in 2003 from IIT Bombay and PhD degree in 2006 from RWTH Aachen University, Germany.
