Neil Armour (born 14 January 1967) is a Scottish former footballer. He played in defence for clubs in Scotland, China, Hong Kong and the United States.

Player

In April 2000, Armour had unsuccessful trials with the Hershey Wildcats and Lehigh Valley Steam of the second division USL A-League. [1] He then moved west to sign with the third division Riverside County Elite as a player-assistant coach. [2] The Elite played in the USL D-3 Pro League. [3] On 24 June 2000, he transferred to the Utah Blitzz. [4]

Coach

He has coached at Yee Hope, Riverside County Elite and the Utah Blitzz. Since retirement he has been coaching the junior sides of Orange County Surf Soccer Club in America. [5] Armour currently coaches the OC Surf boys under 14 team, OC Surf girls under 13 team, and the OC Surf girls under 15 team.

Utah Blitzz was an American professional soccer team in based in Salt Lake City, Utah that played in the USL Pro Select League. The club was founded in 2000 but folded following the 2004 season to make way for the Major League Soccer franchise, Real Salt Lake, to begin play in 2005. During its short existence the club was very successful, winning two league titles in total while finishing first or second in the Western Conference every season. The club played its home games at Rice-Eccles Stadium on the campus of the University of Utah.

Riverside County Elite were an American soccer team established in 1998 that spent the 2000 season in the USISL D-3 Pro League.

FC Santa Clarita (FCSC) is an American soccer team based in Santa Clarita, California, United States. FC Santa Clarita also known as the Santa Clarita Storm make just north of Los Angeles home, as they compete in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL).
